Chapter 53 – Go

“So you mean to tell me, that because his name is Hank… you don’t trust him?” Jasmine asked after they hopped out the cab. They now were in front of a ten story hotel building. Its walls were high and made of grey stone as the windows were arched and circular. At the front was a burgundy carpet leading to the entrance and a golden framed door. Giselle focused her attention back on Jasmine, after scrutinizing the hotel.

“I’m just saying he can’t be trusted.” Giselle shrugged leading the way into the hotel. “It’s just a feeling.”

“Well hopefully your feeling is wrong.” Jasmine replied. “I can’t deal with anymore drama today.”

“Get used to it.” Giselle shrugged as she walked into the hotel. “It’s far from –

Her words were cut off when she took in her surroundings. The walls were a crème color as the tiles were a dark red. Still each tile was shiny, polished to its full potential. The entire lobby smelled of apricots and different spices. Giselle’s eyes slowly went wide. She didn’t over look the chandelier, golden textured sofas and gold framed front desk. She didn’t forget to watch the butlers passing by in a rush with the finest cuisine in their hands.

This had to be none other than a five star hotel.

“Did we just win the lottery?” Giselle whispered.

Jasmine smiled. “I told him the nearest hotel, I’m guessing this is it.”

“This is freaking amazing.” Giselle smiled, but it quickly vanished when she realized she was in Paris for one reason.

To get to Isaac as fast as possible.

“Hey, can we at least have some type of fun while we’re here?”

Giselle smirked. “No. We have business to take care of.”

Without another word she headed directly for the front desk. Giselle was slightly confident about getting a room until she realized Jasmine was the one with the gold card. Besides that, Jasmine knew French and she didn’t. Sighing she stepped aside and allowed Jasmine to have the spotlight for a couple minutes. After all, they needed a room and all Giselle needed to do was give some slight direction so that Jasmine knew what to do.

In moments they had a room key. The old woman behind the front desk seemed eager to give them one. She gave them small smiles and even mentioned free food service on the first night. Giselle took little to no time in reading the name tag on her black suit that read: Jane. Almost instantly she took in her appearance which consisted of brown hair and dark brown eyes. Giselle wasn’t sure if she could be trusted either.
