Chapter 7

Jen POV

It's Monday, and my date with Nick. I found out that Nick goes to our school so he is going to take me to our date straight after school.

The weekend was really fun with Josh. We hung out a lot but I couldn't shake the feeling that Josh was acting really weird. I confronted him but he just shrugged it off.

I decide to wear my favourite Nirvana crop top, denim shorts, my black beanie, an arrow necklace and boots. I have to dress good for my date I can't wear sweatpants.

I head to school and park my car in the usual spot. As I am walking to my locker I see a girl walk out of the janitor's closet, after a few seconds Josh walks out too. I roll my eyes and pretend like I didn't see that.

I walk to my locker and get all my stuff and I am met by Jena.

"Hey Jena!"

"Hey Jen!" she says enthusiastically "Today is the date huh?"

"Yeah!" I blush

"Well have fun and give me details" she says like a girly girl "You coming to class?"

"Go ahead, I am heading to the library to get a book and I'll meet you there" I smiled

"Alright see ya" she says and walks towards class

I start walking to the library, which is in the basement of the school, I don't think anyone knows about it. I found out because I was exploring the school one day and I decided to read there for sometime.

I start looking for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire between bookshelves when I feel hot breath on my neck and the scent of Hollister perfume fills my nose. I try to ignore the strange person and walk still looking at the bookshelves when someone spins me around and pins me to the shelves.

I look up to be met with Josh's hazel eyes.

"Hey" he speaks

"Sup" I am kinda used to being this close to him now since he does it everyday yet I don't get used to his presence around me

"You look hot..." he says eyeing me up and down "Nirvana....I like..." He smirks

"I know right! I love Nirvana!" I exclaim excitedly "Finally something we have in common" I add

"Not the only thing we have in common" he whispers "Why are you looking extra good today? Trying to impress me?" He smirks

"Yeah sure" I roll my eyes "On a serious note though I have my date with Nick today!" I whisper excitedly since we are in a library

"Oh yeah..." He rolls his eyes

"Do I look good? Is it too much? Will he like it? I mean I can change-" I ramble on until I am cut off

"Goof, you look hot...I just said that" he smiles "That beanie looks so good on you, which is why I am taking it" he speaks while taking the beanie off my head and putting it on his

"HEY! Why?" I whine

"I don't want boys staring at you because you look so good with that beanie"

I roll my eyes and the bell rings. We head to our class together and the day goes by very quickly.

Before I know it I am walking to Nick's car with him.

"So...where are we going?" I ask

"It will ruin the fun if I tell you" he smiles
