Chapter 22

Josh POV

I wake up to someone whispering my name, still not making me give up the world or darkness I am in.

"Josh..." the voice whispers

"Mhmm?" I moan, my head in the pillow

"Wake up...we have to get ready soon" she whispers

"5 more minutes" I say

"Please?" she pleads, I turn around so I am laying on my back, my eyes still closed, "Jooosh"

I feel weight on my stomach, knowing that Jennifer found a comfortable chair on my stomach.

"Wake up" she says, leaning closer to my face

"No"

"Please?" she says, leaning even closer so her lips are millimetres apart

"No"

"Fine" she huffs and gets off my stomach resting on the other side of the bed

"Hey!" my eyes snap open and I turn to her "If you would have kissed me, maybe I would've woken up"

"Nah"

"Nah?" I say, climbing on top of her

"Nah." she replies

I start to tickle her making her squirm violently underneath me.

"S-stop....I-I can't...b-b-breathe" she laughs "K-kiss me"

"Thank you" I smile and lean down to kiss her, I feel her grinning in the kiss which makes me smile too

"We have to get ready Joshy" she says, after she pulls away

"We have a lot of time left Jen" I say "Or are you too excited to win an Oscar?

Yep. Jen got nominated for an Oscar, she did a movie called Silver Linnings Playbook with Bradley Cooper. She did an amazing job! For that she is nominated for an Oscar tonight. I am so proud of her.

"I won't win" she smiles

"Oh please" I roll my eyes "Just remember me after you get super famous"

"Uh huh sure" she jokes "But in all seriousness, I couldn't ever forget you" with that we go back to kissing

Jen POV

"You look amazing!" The interviewer says

"Thank you, you do too" I smile, looking around for Josh until I finally spot him doing an interview

"So, are you excited?" she asks

"Oh yeah, definitely, I still can't believe I am nominated. It's amazing" I grin

"Do you have a speech prepared if you win?"

"Yeah, I mean I am going to wing most of it if I get up there" I laugh, which makes the interviewer laugh too

I have thought about it a lot, Josh and I have been dating for almost a year now and no one except the cast of The Hunger Games know. Not even the audience. So I decided that if today I win, I am going to mention him in my speech.

"Is there any food here?" I blurt out, then laugh

"Uh...yeah" The interviewer laughs "There is food after the ceremony"

"Oh but the whole thing is so long" I sigh

"Yeah well" she laughs "Are you excited about Catching Fire?"

"Oh yeah! I am so excited, we are going to have a new cast, new director, it will be awesome and we are going to be filming in Hawaii" I reply

"So you are best friends with Josh Hutcherson, yeah?" The interviewer asks "He is here tonight isn't he? How does he feel about you getting nominated?"
