Chapter 17

Jen POV

After Josh and I got back from the camping trip we were very tired. It's been 2 days, the trip was really fun. I do feel something for him, something different, but I know if I ignore it, it will go away.

Today we have our cast reading for The Hunger Games. I am really excited yet nervous. Josh is really excited too he hasn't stopped talking about it.

"Jenny let's go..."Josh says

"Yeah. Let's go" I say

"So, I was thinking maybe we could use my car-" I get cut off by Josh

"No. I was thinking we could go on my Harley. You know the one you gave me?" he smirks

"Oh...noooo" I say

"Oh...yesss" he says

"Josh, no! What if I die?" I ask

"You won't die...chill" he says

"I don't know"

"Just come on" he says dragging me to his motorcycle. He sits down and then hands me a helmet. I sit behind him scared to death.

"Goof...you can hold on to me you know?" he says

"Alright" I sigh. I hold onto him which isn't helping my whole 'I think I like him' situation. I feel a blush creeping onto my cheeks as I wrap my arms around his torso feeling his abs.

"Lets go!" he yells. We take off on full speed, wind blowing through our hair. I hold onto him tighter maybe enough to kill him.

Soon, we arrive at the building and I get off the motorcycle still scared to death. I unstrap my helmet and give it to Josh.

"See that wasn't so scary..." Josh says as we walk into the building

"Sure..." I reply

"Hi! We are here for The Hunger Games cast reading" I tell the lady on the front desk

"Oh yes! 15th floor, conference room 1501" she says

"Thank you!" Josh and I make our way to the elevator and get off at the 15th floor. We enter the conference room.

"Oh look, it's Katniss and Peeta" Gary says as he sees us

"Hey" I say

"Please guys have a seat" he says  "So one by one you guys introduce yourselves and say something about you, starting with Jen"

"Okay...Hi, I am Jennifer Lawrence, I am 19...I am going to be playing Katniss Everdeen...uh and...I love pizza" I say and some of the people around the room chuckle

"Okay, thanks Jen, now Josh it's your turn" Gary says

"Hey! I am Josh Hutcherson, I am 19. I am playing Peeta Mellark and I have known Jen since high school" he smiles in my direction

"Okay, now Liam" Nina says

Wait! Liam?

"Hey! I am Liam Hemsworth, 20. I will be playing Gale Hawthorne and I went to high school with Jen and Josh" he says

I hadn't noticed that he was here. I can't stop grinning.

We go on everyone introduces themselves. We learn a lot about each other and then the cast reading is finished and it's almost 5pm.

"Hey you guys wanna go bowling?" Alexander, who is playing Cato, asks

"Sure" everyone replies
