I mumble curse words at Josh as he goes on and on about how I must miss my phone and for the fifth time he drives right past my house I know where he's going with this he will keep driving around the block until something happens it's now been an hour since schools got out and he still won't drop me off at home
"Josh" I finally scream as he passes my house for a seventh time when I screamed I cut off his talking to himself about my phone
"What?" He asks puzzled
"You just passed my house again what the heck"
"I know I did" he replies passing my house again
"Now take me home"
"Nope" he pops the 'p'
"And you wonder why I hate you"
I lean back in the seat
"No I don't wonder Mackenzie"
I roll my eyes
"You know why I don't wonder? Because there's nothing to wonder about your just another typical popular girl that only cares about her phone and her reputation nothing else I thought I could change that by using her reputation against her but guess what Mackenzie your still a shallow popular girl with no life besides the drama that revolves around her phone and your nothing without that I thought I could change you and bring your adventurous side out but that's impossible with someone like you because youll never change" tears start to form in his eyes as he slams on the breaks infront of my house and hits the unlock button on the doors he turns in his seat to face me with one hand resting on the steering wheel
"Josh it's not-"
"No Mackenzie it is like that now get out of my car"
"Josh"
"MACKENZIE GET OUT" he screams
"Fine" I reply quietly grabbing my bag and stepping out of the car slamming the door behind me and I walk up the path to my house Josh rolls down his window
"And don't ask for a ride again" he hollers out
"Trust me I won't" I scream back as tears begin rolling down my own face

I pull out of her driveway and mumble about how much I hate her when I know In reality I'm just upset with her
I pull over on the side of the street just a few houses down from mackenzies and begin crying I usually don't cry but I love her she's special and I hurt ruined anything I could've had with her
Then I hear manicured nails tap at my window and I glance up and there stands Mackenzie
Behind her is Brooke's car with Paige maddie kendall and chloe piled up
I roll down the window
"What do you want"
"I assume if I'm not under 24 hour survalience the bets off and I get my phone back"
Just then cocky Josh gains all cockiness back
"Nope you can't get rid of me that easily"
With that I roll back up the window and speed off leaving a shocked Kenzie and sisters
After I pull up at my house and walk on a few seconds later Paige and Brooke storm in
"JOSH HYLAND" Paige shouts
And I hear two pairs of stomping feet following me up to my room
"What the hell was that about Josh" Paige asks grabbing the back of my shirt
"What" I ask running a hand through my hair
"You can't just go off on Mackenzie then start crying like a baby then not give her her phone back"
"Sure I can Paige it's a free country"
"Asshole" she mumbles releasing my shirt and walking away
I smirk to myself as I open Kenzie's lock screen blown up with notifications god she's so perfect
