Joshs pov
As me and Mackenzie Ziegler stand on my porch hugging it begins to sink in that she came to me for support she trusted me. I love her I just don't know how to tell her. She's amazing she just doesn't know it.
She nuzzles her head into my chest and I begin running my fingers through her tangled hair she doesn't seem to mind if anything she seemed to like it she wraps her arms tighter around me after awhile I stop rubbing her hair and after what feels like forever one of us pulls away
"Josh" she asks
"Yeah Mackenzie" I say
"What time is it?" She asks
"Uh" I glance down at my phone
"It's like 10:30" I say
"Oh I should probably start walking back home then" she says taking a step back and turning around
"Wait" I say and grab her arm
"Your not walking kenzie I'm giving you a ride" I say
She rolls her eyes "I'm fine Josh" she says
"Just let me go get my keys I say lightly tugging on her arm then running inside
"What are you doing josh" my mom asks
I grab my keys and as I'm running back outside I yell back
"Taking Mackenzie home"
"Whys she here" I hear my mom ask back but I don't care
"Cmon Kenz" I say unlocking the car she had taken a seat on the front step and was making her way to my car now she opened the passenger side and sits down and her big brown eyes stare at me
I turn the car on and begin backing out
I was driving down the few blocks that seperates me and Kenzie's houses
That's when somebody swerves over and smacks into my car knocking it off the road I gasp and Kenzie shrieks the car had hit on the passenger side I can't get my door open cause the car had flipped so I try my best to climb over Mackenzie and kick the passenger door open that's when I realized mackenzies bleeding a lot and she's unconscious shakily I dial 911 on my phone and tell them or location I was unharmed in the wreck so they just took Mackenzie
All I remember about the car was it was white and the driver was a small blond
She looked just like brynn rumfallo
