As soon as I open my locker it snaps shut again and I immediately know who it is
"Yes Josh?" I ask
"Hello Mackenzie" he smirks
"Josh why are you here I never heard about them going shopping as far as I know Brooke is taking me home" I reply
"Actually Kenzie I'd like to apologize for being an asshole" he says
"You are an asshole" I reply opening my locker again to block his face
"I'd like to take you on a date" he continues
That's when it's my turn to hysterically laugh at him
"Me on a date with you?" I ask before laughing again
That's when his cheeks turn red "yes?" He asks
"As long as you'll pay I'll get free dinner and a movie" I smirk
"Okay" he replies
"And Brooke and them are going shopping for homecoming" he continues
I gather my books and throw them In my bag before following Josh outside to his vehicle
"So where are we gonna eat mrs Kenzie" he asks
I cock my head to the side "never call me that again" I reply
"Okay fine where are we eating" he asks tapping his hands against the steering wheel
I lean back in the seat and cross my arms "Bdubs?" I ask
"You know me" he replies pulling out of the parking lot and driving in the direction of bdubs
I zone out and stare off into the void.
I don't realize we are there until Josh lightly taps me on the shoulder
"We re there" he says
I turn in my seat to look at him and start stretching out before I can open the door Josh gets out of his seat to open it
He holds out his hand and I grab it to play along he shuts the door behind me and we walk into bdubs hand n hand im slowly realizing Josh hyland isn't that bad
The waitress brings our drinks that we ordered I was looking through menu I glance up for a second to say thanks and begin looking through the menu again
Once I realize Josh isn't paying attention I rip a whole in the end of the straw wrapper and blow it at Josh it bonks him in the forehead and falls to his menu he looks up at me and starts laughing as I do too.
We flick it back and forth for awhile before the waitress comes back and asks if we are ready to order
Josh looks at me and I nod and he looks up at the waitress and orders one of the hottest wings and I feel like a wimp ordering a 6 piece boneless teriyaki and fries
When the waitress walks away
I had my hand resting on the table and Josh grabs it and pulls me in and stares into my eyes before leaning over the table and kissing me surprisingly I kissed him back.
