Part 9.

My car pulls up to this old abandon warehouse. I check the address to see if I have the right place or not, and surprisingly I do. I get out of my car and cautiously walk over to the rusted metal door. I'm scared but hey, I have nothing to lose, so I just go straight ahead. I knock on it to see if anyone is there to let me in. No one comes to the door but I hear shuffling inside. I open the rusty door and it makes the worst sound I have ever heard in my life. "Hello?'' I say into the darkness. I hear shuffling coming from the back of the building. "Um, I don't know if anyone is even here" I say walking to the back of the building, "But I was invited here by someone.'' I say with a shaky voice. As I begin to come to the end of the warehouse, a massive, bright light is turned on. I step back as it blinds me and put my hand in front of my eyes, blocking out most of the initial light and I begin to see a silhouette. The person makes their way toward me. As they get closer I realise who it is. It's Josh. He is dressed in a black suit, his hair looks soft and fluffy and he looks like an angel.

"Hello Ava.' he says as he grabs my hands.
"Hi Josh" I say confused. "Josh, don't you have a therapy session tonight?'' I asked with concern.
"I did." he says "but I wanted to apologise to you." he says as he looks up from the ground to me with tears in his eyes.
"Ava Mae Bateman, you are the love of my life, I know I fucked up. I fucked up so bad, but don't worry because I got myself back." he says staring down at his covered wrist. "Joshua, I swear to god if you did what I think you did" I say as anger and tears fill my eyes.
"Don't worry about me" he says as he continues his speech. "Ava, I want you to feel loved and I swear for the rest of my life that is what I am going to make you feel. I don't care if you make me set myself on fire just to be with you for the rest of my life, because I will." he says as a tear falls down his cheek. "Ava. You are my happiness. My love and my strength. All you are doing is trying to make me feel happy and worth something, and all I seem to be doing is hurting you." he says
"Joshua, don't you dare say that. You are my rock and I will forever be grateful for that.'' I say as i'm crying my

"Please Av, let me finish.'' He say as he wipes away my tears "Being away from you for a week and a half was the hardest thing I have ever had to go through. Not having your hair to play with, your lips to kiss and your beautiful face to look at really hit me hard. I got no hours of sleep and I only ate on Thursdays'' he says with a chuckle "Ava Mae, the feelings I have for you are unconditional and I want to be the man that gets to spoil you. So Ava can we just ditch 'going slow' and will you be my girlfriend?'' He asks as he gets down on one knee and pulls out a box. "Fuck yes" I say as I lunge at him and forcefully kiss him which results in both of us on the floor, one on top of the other making out. He pulls away from the kiss and sit up with me straddling his waist. He pulls out the ring and slides it on my finger. "That's not all Av. I have one more surprise for you" he says with a smile as we get up off the ground and stand up.

Josh gets a chair from the other side of the room and makes me sit down on it. I can't see anything because the light is still on but I can just make out a second person. The light goes out and then all of a sudden the whole warehouse lights up with fairy lights. I look around the room in complete awe. my eyes land on the stage and I see Josh on his drums, Ty at the microphone and all of my friends including Jenna and Andy standing around the sides of the stage. I start to get teary and bring my hands up to my mouth. Josh must truly love me if he has gone through this much trouble just to say 'sorry' "Ava, I didn't write this song because I don't know how to" says Josh as he begins to laugh "But my good friend Tyler happens to know how to, so he wrote it for you from me.'' he says "Its called Holding on to You. I love you Av, I really hope you like it.''

Josh begins to play the drums and then Ty jumps in with his singing (play Holding On to You):

By the end of the song I am bawling my eyes out. My makeup is a mess and I look like a tomato but I get up off the chair and run up to Josh. I hug him so hard and then punch him in the arm. "Ow! what was that for?!" asks Josh as he rubs his arm
"Thats for making me-me cry when I-I didn't want to" I say as I hiccup in between words and I am calming down from my crying fit. "Aw babe come here'' he says as walk over to him and kiss him passionately. The small crowd, which I temporarily forgot about, erupts into cheers. We separate and look at the crowd of our friends. Josh holds up our hands that are intertwined and he picks me up bridal style and carries me to the car. "Jish, it isn't our wedding day" i say as I hold on to his neck and laugh "I know, I'm just practising for the day that it is" he says with a smile as he pecks my lips
"And who said we were getting married?'' I say with a cheeky smirk on my face as he places me in the car. "I just know" he says as he buckles me up.

We arrive at his house and he places me in his bed. He takes off his blazer and shoes and lays down next to me. "Av, thanks for giving me a second chance. I love you so much" He says as he grabs my hand.
"Why wouldn't I, I love you too much Josh. I was nearly going insane without you." I say as I lean down to kiss him. Things get heated pretty quickly and before you know it, we are all over each other in nothing but our undergarments. Josh's hands go up to unclasp my bra, but before he could I grab his hand. "How about we save that for tomorrow, Im pretty tired" I say as I peck him quickly on the lips "Are you serious" says Josh. I look at him with one eyebrow raised as if to say 'do you want any tomorrow or not'. "uh-actually i'm also pretty tired" he says as he hugs me from behind as we lay down. I feel his member dig into my leg. "aww poor Joshy got a bit excited for nothing'' I say referring to his erection "shut up you led me on" he says embarrassed. I chuckle at his response. "goodnight Josh. I love you" I say. And just before I fell asleep I hear a very faint "I love you too Av, more than you will ever know."
