Dylan

"Look who's on time," my oldest brother Damien said, as he hugged me and clapped my back.

I chuckled.

"Hey brat," he then greeted Katie and kissed her cheek.

"Hey Dami," Katie hugged him.

"Come on, they're at the back.

"Uncle Dylan!" Gabby squealed as she ran towards me.

Gabby is our sister Lia and Nate's first born. She's only ten years old, but already breaking hearts all over LA. But with Lia and Nate as her parents, that was a given.

"Hey gabs," I said, as I twirled her around.

"Gabs, why don't you tell your Uncle Dylan about the guy who gave you flowers in class, Friday," Damien said.

Gabby gasped. "Uncle Dami, you promised you won't tell Uncle Dylan!"

"Oops," he said, not looking sorry at all.

"Who do I have to talk to now?" I growled, trying to keep a straight face.

Gabs rolled her eyes. "No one. He's just some boy. Besides, dad's already threatening to homeschool me, you don't have to add to the fuel," she said in exasperation.

Add to the fuel? Damn, where does she learn these things? "You're growing up too fast," I grunted.

Gabs grinned. She was beautiful just like her parents and I couldn't blame the guys for admiring and crushing on my niece.

"Well I happen to think it's cute and sweet," Katie said.

"Don't get started, brat," I said.

Gabs giggled.

"If you guys are done scaring my daughter off of boys, then do you mind coming out here to help out?" I heard my sister Lia call out.

We chuckled.

We walked towards. We're having barbecue tonight, and everyone's invited over.

Katie gasped softly beside me I looked at her and followed her line of vision and saw Dave looking back at Katie.

I rolled my eyes. Seriously, this two should just get it over with and do something about the tension that's fucking building between them... I thought, then frowned.

Hell fucking no. That sounded wrong. I don't ever want to think of my sister getting it on with any guy.

Shit.

"Uncle Dyl, can you help me?" I look down and found Ryker, my nephew, and Lia and Nate's second born, holding a toy helicopter. He's only 8 years old, but he was tall for his age.

"Sure," I said, glad for the welcomed distraction.

I kissed my sister Lia on my way to the open grass area, then kissed my mom, and hugged my dad, and my older sister, Damien's twin Isabella, and my younger brother Derek.

My aunts and uncles are all here as well, so I made my greetings before heading to my cousins who were surrounded by my sisters' and my cousins' kids.

"Hey, Nate," I greeted, clapping his back. He was in charge of the grill tonight.

"Hey, Dyl. Thanks for coming early," he smirked.

I shook my head. "I'm not always late," I said.

He chuckled.
