"Alright, we're here," I said, as I pulled into a long driveway.

"Where are we?" She asked, as she took it in her surroundings.

"We're at L'Amore," I said. "My Aunt, Ally and her family owns the place. My cousin, Madison now runs the place with her youngest sister, Hannah. Her younger sister, Emma..."

"Emma Murray. I've heard good things about her work,"she finished.

I nodded proudly. My cousin is an amazing artist. We're all very proud of her.

"And this place... It's beautiful," she breathed.

"It really is," I said. "We all come here twice a month for a large family reunion."

"That must be fun."

I nodded. "It is. We'd like to do it more often, and although  Sunday dinners is a tradition in the family, there are times when some can't make it, which is understandable since we're such a big family and our schedules can be crazy—and so we make sure that twice a month we're all complete," I said.

She smiled sadly. "You're really lucky. I'd give anything to have a family who loves and looks out for each other the way your family does each other," she said.

"Katherine..." I started to say, but she blinked and took a deep breath, as if realizing she had said something she shouldn't have. Gone is the sadness I saw in her eyes, and is now replaced with a smile and excitement.

"This farm is huge!" She breathe.

I decided to let it go as well. "They've expanded over the years. They've first added a vineyard, then they've added organic vegetables. They've got chickens, cows, and horses."

"Madi's mostly in charge of the wine production, while Hannah's in charge of the eggs and milk."

"And the horses? Do they breed?"

"Not really. My aunt loves horses. They're for the family to ride to get around the place. For enjoyment."

She nodded.

"Do you ride?" I asked.

She nodded. "We lived in a small town. The place where my mom worked at had horses. The owner, Tom taught me how to ride a horse. I loved riding. But ever since I moved out in the city, I haven't gotten a chance to."

"Well, today we can ride all you want."

"Good thing I'm wearing jeans," she said with a smile.

"Come on," I said, as I pulled to a stop in front of the house.

I climbed out of the car and walked to her side and opened the door and helped her out.

"Dyllie! You're here!"

I looked up and saw Madi going down the steps to greet us.

"Hey there, naughty," I greeted and swung her around in my arms.

She laughed.

"Naughty, this is Katherine West, Red, meet my cousin, Madi, also known as naughty," I said.

Madi slapped me across the chest.

Red blushed. "Hi, Madi, it's nice to meet you," she said.

"Nice to meet you too, though what you're doing with this arrogant prick here, is a mystery to me," she joked.
