Nobody but me is going to change my story.
Somewhere inside all of us is the power to change the world.
Please watch this video about a man and his speech. It's about his relationship with his mother. He took her for granted and when she disappeared from his life, he realised how stupid he was to ever so simply let her go. I really cried when I watched this but it may be because I'm an emotional kid haha. So after I watched this,I also wanted to talk about the topic:
Anything taken with thanksgiving is good.So recently I realised how much we take everything for granted. Especially our parents. I'm going to talk about my mother. She is a strong woman and no doubt, is going through depression. She takes anxiety and "happiness" pills. Trust me,I've seen them.
And although she has tons of problems of her own, she glues our family together. If me and my father are fighting, she'll be the peacemaker. She's incredible.
So I was just thinking about what if she was gone.
If my mother wasn't the mother she is now, would I have an education?
Would my father leave our family?
Would I run away from home with no one who understands me?
Most importantly, would the people around me be the people they are?
Don't take anything or anyone for granted, not even yourself.
