I woke up the next day, smiling to myself. The night before, I had resolved everything with my mother and we were getting along fine. At first things had been rocky but we both agreed to work our way back to being close. Like a mother and daughter should be.

Almost immediately after I woke up, there was a soft knock at my door. "Come in." I said cheerfully. The door was pushed open, exposing Hook. I got up and leapt into his arms. "Are you ready?" He asked. I nodded. Last night, Hook and I had decided that we would reschedule our wedding for today. With my new maid of honour, my mother, by my side. "Oh Hook I'm so excited!" I grinned. He smiled back. "I'm excited too, Beth. I get to marry the love of my life!" I blushed. "Thanks, Killian." He winked. I kissed him goodbye and he left me to get ready.

I called on my mother to help me get ready. It was definitely a special moment which will never be forgotten. I took a bath while my mother prepared my dress, veil and bouquet of flowers. As I wrapped myself in my soft towel, I heard peaceful music coming from outside the bathroom door. She'd put my favourite record on...

I opened the door and made my way over to her. "This is my favourite record." I said. "It was mine when I was a child as well. I had no idea it was yours, too." She responded. "Ever since you were announced dead I've had this record. I found it in your room and listened to it for a little. It made me feel connected to you. Like it was the last bit of you I had." My mother wiped away a tear. "Let's get you ready." She said.

Once I was dressed I admired myself in the mirror. A tear found its way down both mine and my mother's cheeks. I was wearing an elegant white dress that poofed out at my hips. Around my waist was a pearl and bead belt, sewn into the dress. There was a layer of thin fabric over my dress and above the belt and around the bottom of it was flower print lace. I wore a necklace that matched the belt and pearl earrings. I felt gorgeous.

My mother came up behind me and placed my veil on my head. She handed me my bouquet of purple and white lilies. Killian and I had decided that the theme for our wedding would be purple, white and green. We had a tray of vanilla cupcakes with purple and green icing, some assorted candies, and some meat, cheese and veggies. We also had a 3 tier, heart shaped vanilla cake. It was covered with white icing, and had purple and green swirls all over it.

"Did you know that I put this record on the music list for tonight?" I asked. My mother's smile widened. "I had no idea, but that's sweet of you." "I've always felt happy when listening to it, so I figured that it would make me happy at my wedding. I also felt that it would make it seem like you were there alongside me." She spun me around and watched my dress twirl. "From now on, I'm always going to be beside you, sweetie."
