Dakota's PoV
It's the day before Christmas and Jamie wanted to make it a big thing as its Alexandra's first one even though she won't remember it as she is only 2 months old,so we have a huge tree and decorations everywhere. I hear my babbling daughter and I am guessing it means she is ready to nurse Jamie comes in with her in his arms and passes her to me I sit down and she latches on 'what are you staring at' I ask Jamie and blush as he cant take his eyes of me 'just the amazing image of my wife feeding our daughter he says and rubs Alexandra's head.
We are waiting for Dulcie to arrive as Amelia very kindly let us have Dulcie over Christmas as its her first one as a big sister. I hear a knock at the door but Jamie is up and there before I have a chance 'dada dada' I hear Dulcie babble I chuckle and go to greet her 'koko baba' Dulcie babbles when she sees me with Alexandra 'that's right sweetheart Dakota and baby' Jamie praises his 2 year old daughter 'OK so I will pick Dulcie up on Boxing Day' Amelia says 'that's fine' Jamie agrees 'she really is a gorgeous baby Dakota' Amelia says looking at me with Alexandra 'thank you Dulcie is just as gorgeous' I say back. We all say our goodbyes and head into the front room,Dulcie and Alexandra our playing happily on the floor with me sat with them,Dulcie is being really gentle with Alexandra 'baba little' she babbles 'that's right baby small,she will soon grow up so you can play properly' I smile back at her 'yay' she cheers. I hear the click of a camera and I look up and Jamie has his phone 'all 3 of my girls in one photo perfect' he says and I can see that he has the photo as his screen saver.
We encourage Dulcie to go to bed so that Santa can come she is quick to go to sleep I put Alexandra down and get my presents to Jamie ready to go under the tree. I can't wait for him to open them tomorrow I have got him a picture of him with the girls from them and cuff links from me with the girls initials on one and mini fingerprints of them on the other. We put the presents under the tree and Jamie looks at mine to him 'I already have the perfect gift,all 3 of my girls together' he says and hugs me and leads me upstairs. We snuggle down and drift off with me listening out for Alexandra waking up for her next feed.
Jamie's PoV
I am so excited partly because I get to have Dulcie for Christmas and also as its Alexandra's first Christmas, I am upstairs wrapping Dakota's present from me and the girls when I hear my angel crying, I go to pick her up 'hey baby girl don't cry daddy's here' I say I am guessing she is hungry so I get her and take her downstairs to Dakota so she can nurse her. Dakota is sat on the sofa and I watch as she feeds our daughter 'what are you staring at' she blushes 'just the amazing image of my wife feeding our daughter' I say back. I hear the front door and jump up to answer it as I am guessing it's Amelia with Dulcie I open the door 'dada dada' Dulcie babbles and puts her arms out for me to pick her up,I see Dakota out of the corner of my eye 'koko baba' Dulcie babbles 'that's right sweetheart Dakota and baby' I praise her. We arrange for Amelia to collect Dulcie on Boxing Day,she then leaves. My 3 girls are all on the floor and I can't resist a photo Dakota looks up 'all 3 of my girls in one photo perfect' I say and straight away set it as my screen saver. Once we have put Dulcie to bed we put the presents under the tree and I see a medium and small box with my name on one and 'to daddy' on the other Dakota just shrugs her shoulders 'I already have the perfect gift all 3 of my girls together' we head to bed and fall asleep ready for tomorrow.
Dulcie comes into our room early 'dada up' she babbles 'ok princess' I say and get up Dakota's side of the bed is empty so I guess she is downstairs. I go downstairs and see her we all sit down and let Dulcie open her presents which are toys and clothes and it's the same for Alexandra although she has no clue what's going on.
I get passed the medium box by Dulcie and I open it carefully and I feel tears prick my eyes when I see what's inside its a picture of me Dulcie and Alexandra and the frame is engraved with WORLDS BEST DADDY we love you lots of love Dulcie and Alexandra. I just give Dulcie and Alexandra a huge kiss and cuddle and wink at Dakota I then open the smaller box which is from her and I choke up again when I see cuff links that have the girls initials on one and mini fingerprints of them on the other 'thank you so much baby' I choke out 'your turn' I get Dulcie to give her the box and she smiles when she pulls out a teddy with I LOVE MY MUMMY on it from Alexandra and an I LOVE YOU teddy from Dulcie 'thank you both of you' she kisses both the girls and I hand her the box from me she opens it and gasps 'omg Jamie it's beautiful' she says when she sees an eternity ring with a turquoise stone in the middle as we got married in December and diamonds surround it I also had our wedding date engraved inside 'I hope you like it' 'Jamie I love it and I love you' she kisses me 'I love you too Dakota so so much'.
The day goes by with us having family time and once the kids are in bed I make sweet love to my wife and fall into a contented sleep with her in my arms and my 2 princesses close by.
