Before you start anything you need to know, "It is not that hard. It is an instrument that a cat wears around its neck!"
-Have you're eye on the tiger!
- "If we want to win this concert, we play something cool, like 'Eye of the Tiger'."
-You have to learn the Winston. Jess calls it the three in hand, but we all know it's the Winston.
- "If you skip school and practice, then, boom, you got it."
- Ask yourself "Are you focused? Okay, what's the song about?"
-If you suck then you play with magazines...you don't deserve real bells! "You're gonna play these, okay? Play these until you figure it out. Right? Don't play these."
-Your hand movement should be "Petting a dolphin." not "like you're fighting off a shark".
Jess's cut in:
It is called the three in hand by the way.
"If you tell them they aren't good, that's one more person telling them that.
That's a big deal to me, making sure no one else gives up on them.
Even if they sound like a guy covered in bells falling down a staircase that's also made of bells."
