Tris's POV
I wake up again due to my nightmare.But this time...it's not dark.I guess it's early morning.
I know I can't fall asleep again.
So I dress up into a shirt,track pants and trainers.Then I head to the walking track.
I like it there.
I finally reach the track and start walking.
I'm going to add this on my routine.It helps me take my mind of things.
I keep walking.And while I do so....I look around.
"Hey Tris",I hear someone say from behind.Ughhhhh !!! Kill me !!
"Hey Four",I say without looking at him and walk faster.Away from him.
Tobias's POV
So Tris is now openly giving me the cold shoulder huh ?
But I'm not going to be cold shouldered !
Tris's POV
Four walks even faster trying to catch up with me.
I groan.
"Are you going to stalk me always ?",I ask.
"I'm not stalking you.You are stalking me.This is a part of my routine.Walking",Four says smirking.
"Really ? Well that's great for you",I say and walk faster.
"Tris....really....what did I do to you ?",Four asks and I freeze.
What did you do to me ?
I want to laugh at that question.
You killed my family.
"Nothing",I say and start walking again.
"I'm not going to buy that...you know ?",He says.
"I don't care",I say.
"Tell me",Four says.
"It's nothing",I say again.
"Tell",Four insists.
"Why are you so hell bent on finding out ?",I ask.
"Because....I'm not used to being treated this way",He says.
"Which way ?",I ask.
"You know...ignored.Cold shouldered",He says.
"Well....everyone has their firsts.This is your first on being ignored",I say sassily and try to walk away but Four grabs my hand and pulls me close to him.
"Yesterday you were talking to me like you're my friend and today you're ignoring me",Four states.I just roll my eyes at him.
"So ? It's....complicated",I lie.
"One day",He says.
"One day ?",I ask.
He pulls me even closer.I feel my heart beat increasing.
Why does he have this effect on me ?
I look away because....I can't let him know.About the effect he has on me.
"Look at me,Tris",Four says.I don't.
"Look at me",Four insists and I do.I look into his deep blue eyes.I can lose myself in them.
"One day....I'm going to figure you out.I promise",He whispers.He then let's go off me.
"See you later",Four says and leaves.
I feel goose bumps on my hands.Where he touched.
I can feel my heart beating really fast.
One day....I'm going to figure you out.I promise
Is he going to ?
Will he ?
Can he ?
Do I want him to ?
And I find myself asking the same question again....
Why does he have this effect on me ????
