Tris's POV

I'm such an idiot.I believed him easily.

He's not even telling me why he moved here.

I should've waited.Till I was sure that he didn't kill my family.

There's only one reason why he's not telling me.

It's because he's guilty.He killed my parents.He killed Caleb.And I'm here.

On a date with him !!!!

The thought makes me want to bang my head on the wall and kill myself for going on a date with the killer of my family.

"Tris are you okay ?",Four asks.Rather,the killer of my family asks.

"I am.Why ?",I reply angrily.

"You just....seem off compared to before",He says.

Yeah I could care less right ? You killed my family for crying out loud !!!!!

"Maybe",I reply curtly.

"I'll just go to the washroom",I say getting up.Not even waiting for his reply.

I practically run to the washroom before I have a panic attack.

Thank god there's no one here in the ladies washroom.

HE KILLED MY PARENTS.HE KILLED CALEB.HE RUINED MY HAPPINESS.HE SNATCHED MY HAPPINESS.I DON'T HAVE A FAMILY BECAUSE OF HIM.

HOW COULD I FALL FOR HIM ??

Tris ! Relax.Deep breaths.

What would my family think of me ??

I'm on a date with their killer.

Relax.

It's just a date.Its not like you're marrying him.

Relax Tris.

Finally I manage to calm myself down.

I wash my face not caring if I ruin my make up.I gave Four a chance and he messed it up.I dry my face with a paper towel and look at myself in the mirror.

I don't look that bad.The make up came off a little.

I go back to the table.

"I thought you ran away",Four makes an attempt at humor.Weak attempt.

I just flash a fake smile at him.

Finally we're out of the restaurant and in the car.Heading home.

The ride home is silent.Comfortable silence though.

"I'll tell you soon Tris",I hear Four mumble under his breath.

I don't think he wanted me to hear that.But I did.

And it kind of makes me feel a bit easy.

We finally reach home.

After Four parks the car,we head to our rooms.

"Bye Four",I say almost entering my room.Almost,because Four stops me before I can.

"Bye Tris.I hope you had fun",He says coming closer to me.

Please don't kiss me.

"Yeah I did.Thanks",I say moving farther from him.

"Uhh....Goodnight",He says a bit awkwardly pressing his lips to my forehead.

I freeze at this gesture of his.

Part of me is glad he did that.

Shut up that stupid part of me !

"Um....You also",I say and then mentally slap myself.

"G-Goodnight",I say quickly composing myself and entering my room.

Four nods and leaves.

I let out a sigh.

One moment I feel like my life is sorted.....the next moment it's a complete mess.

I change into something comfortable and lie down on my bed.

I grab a picture of my parents,Caleb and me.Smiling wide at the camera all of us look like we're extremely happy.But....We were happy.

We were a happy family.Everyone loved each other.

I wipe the tears that grace my cheek.

Why did this happen to me ??

I hear a buzz and grab my phone.

It's a message from Chris.

C : How'd that date go ? 😉😉😏😏😏

I don't reply to the message.

C : I know u r online 😏😏😅

I still don't.

C : Do not ignore me 😡😡😡

C : Is Four in ur room ? 😏😉

C : Oh ! U r in his ? *wiggles eyebrows*

I will slap Chris later for saying that.

C : TRISSSSSSSSSS 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

I lock my phone and keep it on the bedside table.

I don't want to talk about the date I had with the guy that killed my family.

I close my eyes and think of the mess I landed up in.

I slowly find myself drifting off to sleep.

Unaware and terrified of what tomorrow brings.
