Millie: "What?"
Mum: "I'm sorry."
I storm of upstairs and ring Reece.
Millie: "Reece I need to see you."
Reece: "Of course babe, we're seeing each other on Saturday."
Millie: "This is really important."
Reece: "You're worrying me."
Millie: "Tomorrow, can you meet tomorrow?"
Reece: "Yeah I can."
Millie: "Good, I'm gonna come down to you."
Reece: "Ok, what's this all about?"
Millie: "I'll explain tomorrow."
Reece: "Ok babes."
*The next day*
I wake up super early and go to Reece's. I knock on the door and Reece answers. I hug him immediately and I hug him tight.
Reece: "What was that for?"
Millie: "I, I, I'm moving."
Reece: "What?! Where too?"
Millie: "America."
Reece: "Why?"
Millie: "My mum has a new job which she has to has to go to America for."
Reece: "So you'll have to leave?"
Millie: "I'm afraid so."
Reece pulls me in for a hug, my head on his chest breathing in his sent whilst he rests his head on mine.
Millie: "I don't want to, I don't want to leave you."
Reece: "And I don't want you to go. When would you be leaving?"
Millie: "In the next few weeks."
I start to cry.
Millie: "You're the best thing that's ever happened to me, you make me happy, you make me laugh and I love you so so much! I can't think of a world without you."
Reece: "Babe, I love you too and I could live without you either. Come upstairs, come to my room."
Millie: "Ok, ok."
He leads me upstairs hand in hand. We get to his room and I just cry.
Reece: "Oh don't cry Millie, please don't. Come here."
He pulls me into a hug and I cry into his chest.
Reece: "Let's forget about this for now, let's just enjoy our day. Come lie in bed with me."
We spoon each other, he plays with my hair as I lie there thinking. Suddenly my phone rings.
Millie: "It's my mum, I have to answer it."
I answer the phone.
Mum: "I've got a date, 5th June."
Millie: "What?! That's only 5 days away, I thought you said it was weeks."
Mum: "That's what I thought."
Millie: "Me and Rebecca have a life here in England and you want to take us away to somewhere we know no one."
Mum: "I'm sorry Millie but this is a great opportunity for you and Rebecca."
Angrily I hang up.
Reece: "So you have 5 days."
Millie: "I guess so."
Reece: "Well then we're going to have to make these 5 days the best 5 days. What should we do today?"
Millie: "I just want to stay here, with you in bed."
Reece: "Then that's what we'll do."
We lay in bed, watching tv and movies for the rest of the day. I want this to last forever but I know it won't.
