Chapter 39: Unique Way of Caring

"Where the f**k is that b**ch?!" Hidan asked, annoyed that they've been wandering around for a while. "Oh f**k." Hidan suddenly said, making Kakuzu look at him in wonder. "The s**ty elves." Hidan said. Kakuzu's eyes widened at this. Kakuzu grabbed the walkie-talkie. "We're going to the elves' territory." Kakuzu said. "Wait, why, un?" Deidara asked. "The b**ch might have wandered in there." Hidan said. "Are you wearing your rings right now?" Kisame asked. "Yeah. We'll use that." Kakuzu said, turning off the walkie-talkie. "Let's go, idiot." Kakuzu said. "I'm not a f**king idiot, s**ty ragdoll!" Hidan shouted as he followed Kakuzu.

Sakura groaned in pain as the elves dumped her on the ground roughly. "What are you doing in our territory?" One of the elves asked, glaring at Sakura. "I got lost." Sakurua answered. "We won't buy that sorry excuse!" Another said, causing Sakura to twitch in annoyance. "Everyone! Tonight, we feast for a human!" The elf said, making the other elves cheer.

'I regret going for an adventure.' Sakura thought as she was hung up by  her wrists. Sakura groaned and she felt her wound open again. 'I'll lose in number if I fight them with my wounds.' Sakura thought. Her eyes dilated when she felt something sharp slice her cheek.

"Wait!" Hidan said, blocking another knife going towards Sakura's heart with his kunai. "Human!" An elf said, glaring as Kakuzu untied Sakura and let her lean on him. "We are from the Akatsuki." Kakuzu said, showing them their rings. "So is the b**ch." Hidan said. "And what proof do you have?" An elf said. "This is hers." A voice said, making everyone turn. Zetsu emerged from the ground with Sakura's ring at hand.

He tossed Sakura her ring. "Her ring means storm." Zetsu said, making the elves' eyes widen. "We are sorry we messed with a storm." The elves said, kneeling before Sakura. "Wh-what are they talking about?" Sakura whispered towards Kakuzu. "A calm wind can be furious and can wreck havoc. Just like how a storm was once a gentle breeze." Kakuzu said. With that, the elves got up on their feet. "As an apology, we won't be eating you anymore." One said, making the others nod in agreement.

"Well, we'll f**king go back." Hidans aid, walking away. Zetsu nodded at the elves and sank into the ground. Kakuzu carried Sakura on his back and followed Hidan out. They got back to the entrance and saw the other Akatsuki members have their arms crossed on their chests.

"Sakura." Itachi said, menacingly. "I'm going to extend your no training time for until your wounds heal by themselves." Pein said. "I'm going to wrap you with papers at all times to keep you safe." Konan said. "I'm going to turn you into a puppet so you won't get hurt anymore." Sasori said. "I'll teach you how to use C4 in case of emergencies, un." Deidara said. "I'll suck your chakra with Samehada so you won't be able to move." Kisame said. "Tobi will tie you by your door knob." Tobi said, jumping around.

Sakura sweatdropped at all of this. 'They care in such a unique way.' Sakura thought, smiling as tears fell from her eyes. "Oi, you f**king scared her." Hidan said, grinning. Sakura sniffed and wiped her tears away. "I'm not scared." Sakura said, giving them a teary grin. "Then why are you crying?" Kakuzu asked. "To think that I've found what I've been looking for in an organization full of missing nins." Sakura said, making everyone look at her with soft eyes.

They guided Sakura back to her room with Sasori and Itachi doing their best to close her wounds again. The day went by with Sakura being guarded by an Akatsuki member. AT ALL TIMES according to Pein's order. The time with Itachi was silent with him reading his book and Sakura doing her thing. Her time with Kisame was annoying with Kisame constantly knocking on the bathroom door asking if she accidentally got flushed in the toilet.

The time with Deidara nearly destroyed her room with his explosions. Sasori brought his puppet with him and started working on Sakura's desk as per Sakura's request.

Hidan brought his bible with him and started reading Sakura about Jashin. Kakuzu brought his money with him and counted. He threatened Sakura to kill her if she lays a finger  on his money. Zetsu came and started talking about plants. Sakura was on guard when Tobi's time came, causing Tobi to watch her in amusement.

And thus, the day ended and came the day of the resort. "Sakura! Wake up!" Kisame shouted outside Sakura's door, banging on it vigorously. "What?!" Sakura shouted, slamming the door open. "We're going to the resort. Right now." Kisame said, grinning as he carried Sakura away like a sack of potatoes. "Wait! I didn't even brush my teeth yet!" Sakura shouted as they walked out of the base only to see everyone waiting for them. Without another word, the group ran at full speed towards the resort.
