"Why don't you let me finish up the cake?" my mother asked.
"Because you're a guest that's why."
"Aw come on. It's my first grandchild's first birthday. Take a break."
"Alright fine."
I didn't object to making the cake. Everyone who Jimmy and I know are here to celebrate Scars first birthday before Jimmy goes back on tour. Somehow the people I invited, invited other people. Like for example, I invited George Harrison and Patti in which George invited Paul McCartney, his wife Linda and their kids. It's pretty cool. Word got spread around at home two. Christopher's "friends" were here two even though I had no idea whole they were. It was an Italian thing back at home and since his "Friends" were in the mob with him it just happened. There were only two guys that came. This guy name Jimmy Conway and his wife and this other guy Henry Hill, his wife Karen and their two daughters. Lou Reed came. Freddie and Mary plus Roger and John, no Brian thank god. Moonie, Clapton, Richards, Anita and their son, Mic Jagger and his new fling Bianca, David Bowie and his wife Angie and their son. Oh and let's not forget about Jeff Beck. Jimmy will kill me if I didn't include him. There were so many people. Oh and there were our families that traveled just to celebrate her birthday. It was crazy. Thank god I made a huge cake.
The party is both kid and adult friendly. The kids, cause god knows everyone brought there kid with them, had juice and soda while the adults had wine, beer, whisky, the whole nine yards. Everything was outside so there was enough room for everyone. There are certain birthdays that you should go all out for and this was one of them. Also including Scars first birthday, we were also celebrating my twenty first birthday but it was mostly for Scar.
While my mom was finishing up the cake, I went upstairs to get Scar from her room. I let her take a nap for a little while cause if I don't, she will be super-duper cranky and I can't deal with that. When I was in the middle of changing her diaper the doorbell rang. I quickly finished changing her diaper and hurried down the stairs with Scar in my hands to answer the door. When I got there Lisa, Lori and Marc were in the doorway.
"There's my niece and birthday girl" she greeted me before I could greet her, "I hope you don't mind but I also brought Lori with me."
"Nah that's fine" I said letting the three in, "By the way every rock star is here so try not to fuck any of them."
"Hazel I don't do that now since I'm with Marc. He knows what I did but I won't."
"And that goes for you two Lori" I told her closing the door and walking them to the back yard.
"No problem Hazel" she said sweetly, "So you're marrying Jimmy Page?"
"Hopefully soon" I replied, "Maybe next year or two."
"You're so luck. So many people in L.A. love him so much."
I didn't make any comment to that. I know I am luck but I don't want to talk to her. I know it was basically her idea to do what they were doing and I could care less. Her sister was cool to hang out with but Lori is a trouble maker.
When we got to the backyard everyone stopped and looked at us. Every rock star eyes lit up when they saw Lisa and Lori like they were a piece of candy. The wives might know them but I didn't do anything but walked away from them to where Mo was sitting.
"So that's Chelsia and Lori?" she asked.
"Yeah" I sighed.
"Why are they here?"
