The plane ride was probably the longest trip I had to ever take. Not that the time of the trip but just the way it dragged out. Throughout the ride, my stomach was doing crazy amounts of flips. I don't know how Jimmy's going too reacted when I get home. I just want to know if he even missed me at all.

I took a taxi back to Pangbourne. I didn't bother on asking Freddie to pick me up or anything like that. I wasn't too thrilled about waiting for my bags but what am I going to do. However, just like the plane ride my stomach was still doing flips. I don't know if I should go back. I couldn't change my mind now. I was in the drive way. No turning back. I grabbed my bag and paid the nice taxi driver. I don't really want to do this but I have too. I'm an adult, I can't run away. I looked into my purse for my house keys as I walked up to the front door.

When I got into the house, it was quite. So quite you could hear a pin drop. I left my things in the hallway before walking to the living room. I notice in the living room the boxes I had left still stayed and that there seemed to be no sign of life. I walked into the kitchen to see a plate still shattered on the floor. The island was covered in empty bottles of Daniels. Two weeks I was gone Jimmy seemed to manage to drink an island full of Daniels. I looked to the kitchen table to see my engagement ring still in the same spot I had left it. I walked over towards the ring and slid it back on to my ring finger. I sighed and walked towards our room.

Jimmy was on my side of the bed staring at the ceiling. He didn't pay any mind to me. I think Robert came to check on him and he must have thought it was him. I took off my shoes before climbing onto Jimmy's side of the bed following his position.

"You came back" he softly said, barely a whisper.

"Of course I did."

"Why?"

"Honestly, I don't know, but my love for you is something I just can't let go."

"But I was such a dick to you. I thought you fully left me."

"Jimmy you know as much as I do that we are meant for each other."

"You're too good for me."

"I know"

"Where did you go?" he asked me after a moment of silence.

"For a week I stayed with Freddie and Mary's, they have Scar by the way, and for a week I went back home to my parents."

He didn't reply to that. I guess he missed me and wanted to savor the moment. I proceeded to move my left hand to find his right hand. When I found it, I entwined my fingers with his and gave his hand a little squeeze.

"Why didn't you tell me about the miscarriage?" Jimmy asked out of the blue.

"We weren't talking. I was scared and I thought you wouldn't care."

"Hazel, even though we didn't talk you still should have. Also I would have cared I mean it was also my child two."

"I know. I just didn't want to. No one knew till it blew up in my face. My mother didn't even know till I went home."

"Do you want to have one?"

"I do but I promised my mother that I wouldn't have one till we're married."

"What if we get married tomorrow?"

I laughed, "It takes months to plan a wedding."

He sat up and looked at me, "What if we go to town hall and get married. Then spring next year gave a reception?"

"You sure?" I asked him raising an eyebrow at him.

"Does the fact that I picked out and have our wedding rings already?"

"You don't."

He didn't say anything. He just got up from his spot on the bed and walked over to his dresser. I don't believe for a second that he already picked them out. In fact, he did. He walked back to the bed and sat right down. I opened the black velvet box to reveal two silver wedding rings.

"I wasn't sure if you wanted silver or gold but I looked at your jewelry and saw it was mostly silver."

"Jimmy it could be made out of a candy wrapper and I would still love it."

"So is that a yes?"

"It does." I smiled.

"Wonderful" he kissed me.

I put the box on the night stand so we, mostly me didn't lose them. Throughout the night we had the best makeup sex anyone can have.
