The sequel to TSRTS. That's the Way follows Hazel as she raises up to super stardom. Love Affair? You guest right. Marriage? Maybe... Children? Read. Death...most certainly.
Today is my baby shower. I officially have one month to go. My mother, Jimmy's mother and Stella all think I'm carrying a baby boy. They say it's the way I'm carrying the baby. I should trust them because they all had a boy. But I don't. I think I'm having a little girl. Speaking of a girl, Scar was so cute when we finally told her that she might be getting a little sister or brother. She was so excited. Every day when she wakes up she has to kiss my belly and say good morning. Jimmy gets a kick out of it. He thinks it's adorable. He tried to help as much as he could. I can't thank him enough. He helped bath Scar and watched her when I took a nap. Basically he did the things I couldn't. He did have to leave to go on tour from March second to April second. Then he stayed home for a month then left till July twenty ninth. It made me a little mad because the baby is due July sixth and he won't be there. Before he left, I gave in to having a nanny. It would help out so much. Hopefully it's only going to be for a short time but there's a huge possibility that it isn't.
Anyways, back to my baby shower, I'm wearing a nice white dress (picture below). It's really the only thing I can wear now. My least favorite thing in the world, to wear dresses for a really long time. I would like to wear pants but I'm too big for them. Sometimes I enjoy wearing dresses but pants are mostly my thing.

"There she is" Mo announced as I walked into the room.
I smiled, "Thank you all for being here. I really appreciate you all for coming. I can't wait to see the little guy or princess."
Everyone Owed at what I said. It's true, I can't wait to see the little guy or princess. I didn't get to see Scar being born or hitting little milestones like opening her eyes for the first time, first bath, and first car ride. Just the little things in life you know.
After the sit down dinner Mo planned, I opened the gifts for the baby. But first let me tell you about the dinner. I had one of my favorite things, a nice juicy thick rib eye steak. For a side was risotto and a purple flower. Except the risotto wasn't like Ma's but that's okay, it was still pretty good. So with the gifts, I got some really nice things for the baby. My Aunt Leora got the baby a beautiful wood craved cross all the way from Italy. Jimmy hates that I put a cross in all the bed rooms and he doesn't know why. I just lied to him that it's one of the two religious things I want in the house. We also have a couple bottles of Holy water in a cabinet and we say grace during dinner. Though it's mostly Scar and I, we still say grace. But back to the gifts. Chris's friends, you know the one's I was talking to him about a year or something ago, they sent over gifts and money. I guess Chris told them that he was getting a nephew or niece. It was really nice of them. Jimmy's parents and my parents split the money to get the baby a whole entire bedroom set (picture below). That was extremely unexpected but I'm incredibly grateful for what they got.

The dessert was a mix of things. Strawberries, blueberries, fondue, and cake. My god the cake was amazing. Yet again my favorite, chocolate cake with bananas cream filling. So good. Everyone also enjoyed the cake and everything to do with the baby shower. Mo did an outstanding job. For the rest of the shower and basically the whole shower, all the girls were gossiping. You know how girls are when we all get together. I might have overheard someone saying that Jimmy was seeing Lori again. Also I heard that Lisa was back to being a groupie even though she was with Marc. I wish that they didn't talk about Lisa in front or around me. I just find it disrespectful but what am I going to do about that? Have a huge fight? No thank you.
By the end of the shower, there were only a few people left. I was extremely tired. It was such a long day that I all I want to do is go home go to bed. I can't even do that since the baby keeps me up at night with all the movement it does.
