Chapter Thirty Seven

Going back on tour felt like coming back home after a long vacation. After James was born we hit the studio for hours on end. Our third album...... has eight songs and my favorite is Can't stop. It's a funky kind of song which is also a bit fast pace singing. Now a year later, we were touring with Bowie. The tour consisted of three legs, all in America and three maybe four shows in Canada. After that tour we take a two week long break and tour by ourselves in Europe and Japan. David's been talking to me that he might be getting a film deal right after the tour. He said that he'll put in a good word for me to play the main female. The movie is called "The Man Who Fell to Earth". He said that I may just get the part. I really hope I do. That would be a huge jump in my career. I hope the boys won't mind. I mean we'll be touring till April maybe May of 75 so it won't hurt.

Anyways back to the tour. It's going to be great. Scar and James's nanny agreed to come on tour with us to watch the two. And yes I finally gave in a got a nanny. She doesn't mind. In fact, she was excited that she gets to go to the states. She's never been outside of England. We agreed that once in a while she can stay and watch Bowie perform. However, it's only for the first leg of the tour. Scar goes to preschool in august. Sophia is going to watch Scar and James at her place while I'm away. Jimmy isn't too thrilled about it but he's going to be home. He's going to be in Rhodes with Robert and Mo. I think Scar might go so Sophia might only have to watch James.

Back to the tour. We almost got stuck going on tour with Zeppelin for the billionth time. Jimmy just wants us, mostly me, on tour with them. I don't want to. I know they have a huge fan base but I don't want it to seem like I'm only married to Jimmy to be famous. If I wanted to famous, like I said before I would have married someone else. Like George Harrison. I pretty sure I could have landed with him but it probably wouldn't last.
