Lisa drops Amoura off at the bus station late that night, after insisting for the eighth time for her to return with her.

"Amoura what happened?" Amoura stops walking and looks at Lisa with a serious expression.

"Ask your son," Amoura turns on her heels and heads to the ticket booth.

It was four A.M when the bus Amoura's on arrives at its location. Apparently, she wasn't the only new rook arriving that night, sixteen others were at the bus stop where she was dropped off. A man in a black uniform walks up to them.

"Hello recruits, welcome to the Academy where you'll be tested to see if you're eligible to train as an S.I.D.O soldier if you're not well whip you into shape. You're at the bottom of the food chain, you're so low you're not even on the food chain. You do well in remembering that," Captain Morgan speaks up as he waits for his co-captain to catch up.

Another man walks up then, he rubs his hands together and speaks loudly;

"I am Captain Jones, and my lovely friend here is Captain Morgan. We are in charge of you at the moment. Today you will all be given a blood test to check for any health problems. If you are not up to par you will be shuffled into fitness. You will be here until you meet the requirements of a proper rook only then will you be able to go to Camp where you'll to be trained. Alright, follow me to the tents," Captain Jones gets them up to date.

The group silently follow him to large white tents, "they say that at Camp you can pick your specialty."

A girl with freckles and red hair tied up in braids walks up to Amoura. "Kelly Sunit."

"Amoura Stone," They shake hands as Sunit tells her about the Supernatural Military.

"The Supernatural Military is actually called the Supernatural International Deployment Organization. When humans started attacking us the council made S.I.D.O to help protect and defend our own. If a supernatural kills a human even in self-defense they are hunted down till a human manages to kill them. This way our community doesn't just stand by and get prosecuted even if they're innocent. No one has to get themselves killed protecting their families," Sunit mutters as they get in line.

Amoura is quickly called up, she hands them her arm and they poke her, nothing she isn't used to if it weren't for the werewolf healing ability her arm would look like a heroin addicts arm. "Werewolf?" The male nurse asks her and she nods.

"Have you shifted?" Amoura nods.

"When?" Amoura thinks back.

"When?" He repeats.

"Three nights ago," He nods and grabs a larger syringe with a bigger gauge needle.

"State full name, birth date, sex, species, height, weight. Last time you were in heat," Amoura tells him everything he asks.

He injects her with an implant to keep her from going into heat, Amoura yelps from the stinging pain before getting her arm back, "this implant is mandatory and will be replaced biyearly, when removed you will go into heat and once the three days end a new implant will be inserted. Understand?" She nods and signs the forms he hands her after she double checks the info. He hands her a copy and she is told to leave.

She walks over to the other side of the tent and is given a cookie and a juice box. Amoura sits in silence watching the nurses do their job when a blond haired boy walks up to her. "Jacob Williams, at your service," He gives her a cocky smile.

"Aren't you here to be a soldier?" She asks him and his smile falters, "yes."

"Then why speak like a Butler?" Amoura asks as she looks away from him.

"Really my smile did nothing?" He asks.

"Only annoy me," A genuine smile appears on his face and he sits next to her and starts talking nonsense, Sunit joins in when she gets past the nurse's exams.

After being taken to their bunks and given the day to settle in, Amoura's group starts their training regiment, and as she predicate Amoura was the weakest of them all, can't even run two miles without growing exhausted and losing her footing, not to mention how much of a failure she is in the obstacle courses.

Only good thing is each time she falls and breaks something she can get back up for she'll heal within minutes, unlike other wolves who are immediately rushed off. The medic's who frequently get called into the scene leave angry for being called out when they're not needed.

The first time she fell off the rock climbing wall and broke her leg, she was half way off the field when she healed, the medical team told off the instructor who later berated Stone for it, he made her run eight laps.

Most of the unit has stopped talking to her for fear being punished with her since Amoura is always being punished, mainly for taking too long or having the medical teams berate them for failing to have an injured person when they arrive, even the blond hair boy who flirted with her that first day doesn't speak to her, he gives her apologetic looks.

She ignores them and continues her rough training since she's always kept behind to do extra of everything. It has yet to make a difference.

"Amoura Stone you have a visitor," An officer walks up to her and she tells them she didn't put anyone on her list, so they must leave.

"You can't dismiss this visitor," The officer waits for her and she reluctantly follows.

Waiting by the front office was none other than Alexander Sterling, "how did you know I was here?" He smiles at her.

"I have my ways of finding stuff out," he looks at her seriously before steping closer and she steps away.

"Please leave, I'm doing this alone," he reaches for her instead of relying. She couldn't help it she had to ask.

"Amoura-" she slaps his hand away.

"Did you know?" She asks him, he stays quiet.

"Did you agree with my parents in doing this?" His silence gives tells her what she wants to hear.

"Go away, I don't want to see you either," she steps away from him.

"Your mom packed somethings for you," He puts the bag by her feet.

"Keep it, I don't care for any of it," she gets ready to leave, only to add an afterthought.

"Oh and don't come back here," Amoura steps away from him, he stops her and puts a box in her hand, Amoura let's it slip from her palm.

"I'll always be here for you Amoura," he tells her seriously as he picks up the box from the ground.

Amoura squeezes the box, "where was your loyalty to me when you agreed with my parents to ship me off to war?" Amoura asks.

She points to the box in his hands, "keep it, you lost me the moment you picked the treaty over me," she speaks up ready to walk.

"And what would have been the best bet? Letting run off with Heminsworth?" Amoura looks at him.

"You knew," she stares at him.

"Goodbye Mr. Sterling."
