Devil Devil by Milck

Stone gets into the trucks driver seat after beating Jural at paper, scissors, rock. "Please keep both hands on the wheel. Your terrible driving scares me as it is, must you risk my life just so you can finish that burger?"

Stone gives him a look and he panics and yells for her to keep her eyes on the road. "On the bright side if your driving kills us we can avoid eating your cooking." Jural mutters and Stone slaps him, causing the truck to swerve.

"You're parents created a death trap." Stone glares, "Ha. HA. I'm not that bad," Stone mutters as she clenches the stirring wheel.

"Yeah, when you're the only one on the road." Stone flicks her tongue and ignores him. "Oh, you're mad." Jural looks at her half amused, "I am not." She snaps, "yeah you're mad." Stone turns on the radio.

They arrive at the building across from Nadro Corp. "Hey Stone! Jural up here!" Luna shouts from the roof, "how did they beat us here?" Stone asks her.

"Because not only are you a lousy drive, you're a slow one too." Stone glares at Jural, "Is that what you're going to do today? Insult me." Stone asks Jural.

"Just your terrible driving." They make their way to the fire escape.

"One of these days I and my lousing driving are going to accidentally run you over." Stone states, "yes, and you'd proceed in running over Roy instead of me." Stone shoves him as he chuckles.

"Why were you so sheltered?" Jural asks as search for the stairs. "I was born weak, small and fragile. People were surprised I survived childbirth much less to my eighth birthday. I had one foot in the grave when I accidentally found my mate, he saved my life. Somehow I was able to take his healing abilities to use for myself." Stone comments as the climb the stairs.

"Does that mean if he dies, you're healing will return to what it use to be?" Stone stops as that thought sinks in, "I don't know, I don't even know for sure if its healing abilities that I have, it just seems too much of a coincidence that I meet him and a month later I'm as good as new."

"Well as long as that accelerate General Alzack gave you lasts, his death won't kill you." Stone shrugs, "I guess you're right, now I don't have to worry about wishing him harm."

Jural gives her a look, "that's a whole other story, next time."

They reach the rooftop where Luna was laying on the ground with her rifle and Reyes holding a small antenna Roy built for them to use.

Just as Reyes was to explain Stone stops him, "I don't want to know, chances are I won't understand anyway." Stone raises her hands at him, "Is there anything you are good at?" Jural asks, "killing the unkillable. Would you like for me to demonstrate Jural?" She gives him an 'I dare you' smile.

"Alright, Captains Roy's in, Cullen, Wisokey move you're clear to go." Reyes speaks up, in hopes to break their bickering.

"How do things look from your side, Lee?" Jural asks through the earpieces, "good, I have the C.E.O in view he's headed to you." Stone and Jural set up the grappling hooks.

"Roy lock the floor he's in no one in or out. Stone and I are on our way to the rooftop now. Cullen, Wisokey clear out anyone that comes down. Stay in the lobby and anyone who tries to escape is yours to take down. Lock as external doors, Roy. Remember no survivors."

Stone walks to the ledge and aims, "yes, sir. Cameras are off you're in the clear." Stone and Jural use grapple hooks to make it across the street onto Nadro Corps. rooftop.

Jural quickly kills the security guard smoking on the roof as Stone cuts off the card key. "We're in." They quickly take our the four security guards and three sectaries before busting into the C.E.O's office. Jural takes the V.P while Amoura quickly kills the two men inside the main office before walking over to the computer.

"Alright, Roy what do I do now?" Roy gives her instructions, "so what exactly is this virus your implanting going to do?" Stone asks as she helps Roy get into the computer system.

"All the frequency boxes they made are digital and are connected to the main server. If I break into the server- which I just did, by the way- I can access the frequency boxes so the moment any box is activated the frequency coming out of it will affect the humans, it might hurt a few shifters but I can program it for a few seconds, not enough time to kill them since they'll heal. Not to mention, I'll be locking them out of their own system so they can't override my commands."

"Remind me not to piss you off, death by phone seems like a pathetic way to go," Stone mutters as she walks out once he tells her she can leave.

Stone meets Jural by the stairs, "are we good to go on?" Jural asks as he stares down the stairs anxious to get on with it, "yes the doors will open to you with the keycard you have," They go floor to floor taking everyone out

"You know there's a faster way to kill them right?" Jural comments as Stone's dagger kills the woman running to the stair. "I agree if you'd stopped complaining we'd finish so much fast."

He gives her the side eye, "you know with all that complaining you do you'd get gray hairs if it weren't for the whole immortality thing." Stone comments as she pulls a dagger out of a humans spine, "and ruin these amazing blond locks, I don't think so." Stone rolls her eyes at him.

"Keep insulting me and I'm going to shave those blond locks." Stone replies as she holds the door open, "I'd kill you where you stand."  She smiles at him, "you'd try."

They get through the eight floors quickly. "See this is why you shouldn't work for top secret organizations because when they kill you no one will know you're dead." Stone comments and they regroup with the others.

"We're clear down here." Cullen comments as he pulls a spear out of the human who was pinned against the wall, "we'd be a terrible cleanup crew." Stone comments at the blood staining every wall and surface the lobby has to offer.

"Alright then let's head back to the roof, split up and make sure no ones alive." They nod at her as they each take different forms of transportation to get to the upper floors. "Don't forget the flash drives." Roy comments, "yes, sir." They rush back up to the roof.

Stone falls back on them when the blow of the bullet going through her spine knocks her off her feet. "Stone!" Williams' voice rings in her ears as she begins to heal. "You alright there Stone?" Jural was holding onto her.

"Peachy. Who doesn't want a bullet through their spine? So considering I died, I think that gives me the right to pick what we eat." Amoura stretches her shoulders as the discomforter fades, "You were dead for two seconds, and that's overestimating." Roy comments through the earpiece,

"Dead is dead, regardless of duration. So Chinese it is."

They rush over to the grapple hooks and despite Stone's reaffirmation that they are all dead, she couldn't help but look around to check if maybe Williams' voice wasn't just in her head. Little did she know she was wrong and Williams had a clear view of her from the freeway below, if only she bothered to look behind her.
