Amoura is one of the last ones off the bus when Captain Johnson starts his speech about the camp regulations.

"Excuse me, Captain Johnson, I need to talk to Rookies Stone and Williams," Williams grabs Amoura's sleeve and pulls them out of the crowd.

"I heard the man, I don't need your help," Amoura mutters as she slaps Williams arm away.

"We are Williams and Stone, sir," Williams says to the man.

"Hi I am Captain Granger and as of this moment you two are my Squad Leaders." They look at him taken back at his words.

"Congratulations you both have been promoted. Follow me to our units barracks," Stone falls after him.

"Excuse me, sir, why us?" Amoura questions him.

"Stone why must you question everything?" Williams yanks on her sleeve, she slaps him away,

"Yes, because you question nothing," Amoura snaps back and he glares at her.

"If you two are done bickering I will explain myself," he stops in front of his unit's barracks.

"Because you two are different sides of the same coin. One of you earned your position, the other honed their natural talent, the two of you are a balanced scale," he pauses to look at us.

"I became a Captain six days ago, my General has allowed me to pick my own S.L's. I heard about you two from the training Captains. I want the two of you on my squad, so don't worry about a thing, just grab your things and follow me." We nod and follow after him.

He sighs, "from this point on you two are my right and left hands, you all will control the front lines situations for me. You all are my eyes, I need to be able to trust you and you two must be able to trust each other also me."

"Of course sir, but can I see one thing?" Williams asks and their new Captain nods.

"I'll mostly be your left since she always seems to be right."

Amoura slaps the back of his head, "don't make him regret his decision."

He hands them files. "What are these?" Williams takes them first.

"Notes on all your fellow recruits. Pick the ones that would help our unit the most, remember we are a front lines unit and they will be your troops to command so you need to make sure they'll work with you, as your inferior," he walks us inside and after a quick lay down of the barracks shows us to our rooms behind the kitchen it, across the designated gender showers.

By the end of the week, Williams and Amoura picked the rooks they thought would best help the unit and Granger picks his favorite from those. "Alright, welcome to Captain Granger's unit. This unit specializes in the front-line confrontation. If you're here its because Captain Granger favored you from the handful of recruits we gave him. Don't settle in for we deploy in three days. I suggest you pack everything you need."

Amoura prepares her bags before rounding up all her unit. That night Captain Granger deploys, two days later Granger's unit heads to the riot zone to join him.
