I found my list of requests! I'm so sorry for the wait guys. I've been so busy lately with my friends and work. But I'm trying to get back into writing. I've has a little writers block so sorry if this sucks.

Near's POV
I've known (y/n) since we were kids. She's always been like little sister to me. I've always wanted to protect her. I always took the guys from Mello so she could run from him. Usually it was because she was studying where he and Matt liked to go and smoke without being caught or she bumped into him and made him drop his chocolate. But I never cared. She was just a kid and didn't mean to do anything, so I always protected her.
But then L died.
I was supposed to go with the SPK alone but she ran up to me begging me to let her help on the case. I was going to turn her down and tell her it was too dangerous but then who eod protect her? I was the only kid here that even talked to her. Mello would get her killed for sure. So I had to let her come.
And now here we are. Sitting in the SPK hide out waiting for the rest to leave so we could take a break. We always waited for the others to leave so we didn't have to act brave. We both knew that we could end up dead and any moment.
But that's why I have to tell her my feelings now before anything happens.
I waited for the last person the leave before I spoke. "(Y/n)? Can we talk for a minute?" I asked her hesitantly.
(y/n)'s POV
I looked over at him. "Yes Near? What is it?" I asked. I was her close to him so normally I could tell if something was wrong. I liked him don't get me wrong. But he's always acted like a big brother so why would he like me?
I looked up when he walked over and stood next to me. "(y/n), what are your feeling towards me? We've known eachother since we were kids, so you must feel something right?" he asked looking a little scared.
"W-well Near... To be honest I've kinda liked you for awhile... But I know you don't think of me like that so its not important." I say as I look down at a file on a suspect. "But (y/n), what would you do if I returned your feelings?" He asked lifting my chin up.
I blushes. "I-i would be very happy. D-do you return my feelings?" I asked a little scared. Near, never being one for wording his emotions, nodded and leaned in slowly giving me time to back away if I didn't want this. But I leaned in towards him as he kisses me softly.
He pulled away after a few moments and looked me in the eyes. "(y/n), will be my girlfriend?" he asked blushing lightly. "Of course I will Near!" I said as I hugged him close. "I love you Near."
"I love you too (y/n)." he's said as he kisses my head smiling.
I know it was short and bad. Sorry. But I tried. Hope you all enjoyed.
