Travis's POV
Christmas Day was in 1 week and I wanted everything to be acceptable for Katelyn. Since Christmas was her favorite day of every year. Even all the kids were excited as Katelyn. So I went to the mall alone and buy everything needed for Christmas Day and the Christmas party. I bought all the supplies and gifts for Katelyn and the kids. And everyone else. So I probably had more than 8 boxes loaded into the car. I parked the car inside the garage. I left everything inside the car. Since we had 2 cars. 1 is a van for a lot of stuff. That's the 1 I used for loading all the stuff and the other car is a Audi R8 e Tron which Avery loved so much. I bought Avery a phone. I bought my little angels some building blocks. And I bought my beautiful Katelyn a box of chocolates. I kept the chocolates in the fridge and the gifts for the kids are hidden in our room. I then took a nap for shopping all day.
A few hours later
I woke up and fixed myself up. I went downstairs just to see Katelyn eating the box of chocolates I bought for her. I asked
T: Where did you get that?
K: From the fridge
T: Damnit
K: Why?
T: That was supposed to be your Christmas present
K: Awwww thanks and it's so good
She walked up to me and gave me a kiss on the cheek.
I chuckled and said
T: Now I have to buy another one
K: Yup
T: And why
K: Because you don't want to see a sad Katelyn.
T: Yeah that's true. But I have to buy before the day of Christmas. So this won't happen again
She went back to the couch and continued watching "The Fault in our Stars"
I did the same.
During the movie I heard Katelynsobbing at the sad part. I moved closer and hugged her and she sobbed into my chest. I just sat there letting her sob. And she said
K: Travis if it is our time don't let it go to a waste.
I nodded and she continued to sob and let the movie continue. Towards the end of the movie I looked at her and she was asleep. I let her be and just at laid there and her on top of me. I changed the mode to normal TV from disc reader. She started waking up and when she saw me she kissed me on the cheek. And I saw her brothers with their bags. Katelyn stood up and I followed. We both went up to them and hugged Zed, Ned, Red, Xed, Ted. And she said
K: I'm gonna miss you guys.
They all said
All: We will too and you Travis.
And Zed said
Ze: Don't break our sister's heart.
T: Not even planning to.
And they left with their car. Me and Katelyn were waving.
