(Y/n) went over everything in her head whilst she sat in the back of her drivers black bmw car. She couldn't help but feel remorseful about ichigo trying to reach out to her. "I should have spoke to him about it... He seems like the type to understand... On the other hand he probably's would of just laughed at me if I told him I was a god." The only thing (y/n) could hear on this car journey was the tyres spinning on the road and the sound of the leather seat squeaking as She slid around when the car turned corners. "I've only had this secret for a couple of days and I'm already starting to feel the stress of not being able to tell my friends... They must think I'm being a bitch for not talking to them" She said to herself with sympathy.

(Y/n) knew they had arrived to her house when the gated entrance slung open, leaving a ring in her ear. Even though her parents openly shared this with her, she still couldn't help but dread to be in her home with them. How was she supposed to act around them now? As much as her predicament scared her, (y/n) knew that her parents loved her dearly and would change things if they could. But they couldn't...

I'm home mom, dad" I shouted as i waltzed through the door.
"Good, have you had a nice day? we have somewhere to go to sweetheart so if you wouldn't mind getting dressed in the clothes I have laid out for you then that would be great" my mother softly said as she gave me a comforting smile. "Where are we going" I asked I started to walk up the stairs to follow my mothers orders. "You will see when we get there, you'll enjoy it, don't worry (y/n)" my father added.

I opened my bedroom door to reveal the clothes that had been chosen for me to wear. Knowing my mother she had probably's laid out a girly floral ankle length dress with a knitted cardigan and flats but to my surprise there was a pair of (f/c) ripped jeans, a baggy (f/c) top and my leather jacket. Obviously following me my mother leaned on my bedroom door frame and said "we want you to feel as comfortable as possible, we know you've had a tough couple of days... The least I can do is stop forcing my girly floral fashion sense on to you for one day" she winked. Something about the way she spoke to calmly and softly made me at ease as I replied with a little giggle and said "thanks mom."

I hadn't been home for long and we were already leaving to go to the mystery location. Quite shocked to find out we were being driven then (as my father would usually drive us to places when we went out as a family) I wondered how serious was the place that we were visiting. My beautiful mother and dashing father were dressed all smart in clothes that looked expensive (and frankly cost as expensive as they looked) so we were obviously going somewhere of importance. To break the silence that lingered over the care, my mother and father small talked about little things like refurbishing the house, how work had been etc. Rubbish that I really wasn't interested in... I just couldn't fling the idea that I was going to be put into an awkward situation from my mind.

We arrived at a big warehouse like building that had obviously been converted into some sort of office space. The dark and dingyness of the building was outweighed by the amount of glass windows on the front of the building, showing the luminosity of the inside. The car tilted slightly forward as we lowered to park in the underneath car parking space underneath building, darkness filled the car enabling me to see anything. When we parked, the driver opened the car door and lead the three of us to a elevator.

After being in the elevator for an unusually long period of time, the elevator opened to a long corridor that has spotlights in light running down the full length of it. We followed the luminous runway, leading to a large metal door with had bolts around it that were the size of cups. My mother stepped In front of the door and faced towards me "we're going to be right behind you, just be yourself and don't freak out about this, it's all okay" she said.
"What do you mean don't freak out??" But before I could continue she opened the door and push me through.

A group of five people sitting at a round glass table, all with parents or guardians standing behind them, looked me dead in the eye as I stumbled inside. My mother pointed at the empty chair that was situated between a slender girl with blonde ponytail and a young man that was quite bulky and had short brown hair. I nervously pulled the seat out and sat and placed my hands into my knee's. A man in a black suit suddenly entered the room and stood in front for us all to see, after analysing our looks he eventually spoke "you's are all here for a very special reason, you's are all different and we want to bring that uniqueness out of you." I wondered what the hell he was going on about until a large telly come up from the floor and he grabbed a pointer from his pocket.

"Ladies and gentlemen, you are a select few that are special enough to carry the gods within then and with that comes great responsibility." He said as he pointed to the telly. "Here you see are the gods that lay dormant in you and our aim is to take one you's so that you's can contribute in solving our county's main problems. The only problem that we have come across in all of the time we have known of the gods existence is how to choose one of you. Thankfully over the past 300 years we came to a resolution." I zoned out of the conversation to look to my surroundings to notice some of the people sitting looked as confused as myself but others were nodding like they could finish the presentation themselves. Feeling quite rude for not paying attention, I turned my heard to listen to the teacher-like man and by the sounds of his serious tone, I came into the conversation at a pretty bad time.

"You will be entered into a game called the God games, it ultimately decides which one of you's will be the centre of our prayers." He continued.
"So what will there's GAMES involve?" another young girl added.
"You will go through in stages, going  one-to-one in combat against each other. As you's are the vessels of gods, you can not be killed but harm isn't something we promise won't happen."
"What the heck do you mean ONE TO ONE combat!!" I exclaimed.
"Calm down (y/n)" my mother said as she pushed my shoulders down when I was about to jump out of my seat. Every person in the room was looking at my, straight faced like nothing had even been said, I turned to my parents and whispered with a whimper to my voice "you can't just throw me into the deep end like this, especially when I only found out about this two days ago!"
"You only found out about this two days ago" the blonde girl added as she laughed
"We've all knew about this from day one, we all have our powers... So it's probably's best you DONT get involved with these game" another girl imputed.

Kind of spiteful and angry to think they thought I didn't have it in me to be involved, I stood up and looked the girl dead in the eye, slammed both of my hands on the table causing it to crack slightly and quietly said "you will NOT tell me how to live my life, I get enough of that from my parents. I will enter this so called game and I will whoop all of you ass's"
All of them looked at me in shock and gazed upon the cracked table that I had inflicted.

To break the silence I glared at the suited man and asked "what is the date of the games and where will I find it."
"It is in a months time and is held in a... Let's say different county shall we"
"What do you mean different county?
He paused as everyone was intensely switching who to look at like an audience at a tennis ball match.
"It's called the soul society... Only people like you can go through there... Your parents won't be able to go. You will be greeted my the leaders of the soul society who will guide you through the process."
"So how come the 'soul society' are hosting this game? You'd think that if we were solving this county's problems that it would be hosted here"
"They... The people of the soul society, also believe in the same gods we do, you will equally help them as much as you would us. You see, in both of situations everyone is free to worship who they want but the lucky person to win the games will get the privileges of being the ultimate goal."
Sick of hearing about the so called privileges of being the ultimate god I over spoke him and said "I don't care for this anymore, tell me parents the time and the meeting place and I will arrange to be escorted there... I will see you all at the games." For once in my life I felt empowered as I strutted out of the door and headed to the car.
