Twenty-Four.

I've finally started adjusting to the "college life".

My classes are a little harder than my ones in high school, but not by much. It's been a little hard to get through this with absolutely nobody I know, but I've learned to manage.

I actually like my roomate, other than the idiots who spend their whole time here partying. She parties sometimes, but mostly studies with me. She's in most of my classes, so it's pretty nice.

"Katie!" I called out.

"Yeah?"

"I'm going to Dunkin Donuts, want anything?"

"Sure, could you get me a small iced decaf regular?"

"Yep," I said.

I left to go get our coffees, and when I came back I realized I'd forgotten my key inside.

Why does this always happen?

I jiggled the door handle and banged on the door, in search of Katie.

"KATIE!" I screamed, banging on the door.

The door opened, and I was met with a face that wasn't Katie's. One that I loved.

"Liam?" I asked. "What are you doing here?" He picked me up and twirled me around. After putting me down, he kissed me softly.

"I needed to see you. I missed you like crazy."

"I missed you too," I smiled.

"I have something to give you," he said, pulling a key out of his pocket.

"What's this?" I asked, studying the shiny key.

"The key to our apartment."

"Wait, our apartment?  Here?" I asked.

"Yes, our apartment. I've been saving up enough money."

"You're willing to leave everything behind just for me?"

"Brooke, I love you. You're my everything. I want to live with you."

I smiled, and he handed me the key.

"Move in with me?" he asked.

"Yes, of course," I said, kissing him.

"Woo! We're moving to Connecticut!" he cheered.

"You're an idiot," I started. "But you're my idiot."
