{Hunter's pov}
In the corner of my eye I see Trisha grab her penny board and skate away.I looked up and grabbed my penny board and ran to catch up to her.But there were a lot of people in the mall now that I could see her anywhere.I was gonna call her ,but I remembered that I had her phone with me.I started skating around the whole building to find her.Its been 30 minutes and still no sign. 15 more minutes past.Nothing. I started to worry and panic a little. I went to the second floor again to look again.Then I see her by the rail dropping gummies on people that were below.I ran to her. "Trisha why did you leave like that". She dropped one more gummy and said, " I don't wanna talk about it". "Are you okay?" I said concerned. She shrugged. "You can tell me anything" I said. "I don't know if I want to talk about this in a public area" Trisha said. "I know a place where we go" I suggested.. "Ok I guess" she said. We penny board out the mall, and went to the park that was around the corner.We sat on the park bench in silence once again. "So what's wrong?" I asked. She took a deep breath, "okay..you know the two supporters you took pictures with right" "Yeah.Why?..Did they hurt you!?" I said grabbing her wrist and searching for bruises on her body.She took my hand off her wrist, "No Hunter,they just said that I shouldn't hang out with you anymore and if I do only just friends." Trisha said. "Oh" I said. "I guess they saw the 'lean in' thing and assumed that we were -
ugh" She put her palms in her hands. " I don't know what to think now, Hunter" ,Trisha said. "W-What are you are thinking?" I asked. She put her hands through her hair, "I don't know if I could tell you honestly". I put my hand on her lap, "trust me, you can tell me anything". Trisha looked down. "I-I don't know ,Hunter" she said. I picked her chin up to me. "trust me" I smiled at her. "If I do tell you can we still be friends" "Pinky promise" I held out my pinkie.She half smiled and took it. "Honestly when we started talking and hanging out I..Well I don't know I think I started liking you.And that 'lean in' thing that happened in StarBucks made me panic a little.Because I haven't been in any good relationships that ended well, and I guess I didn't want to ruin the one we already have" Trisha said.She started playing with penny board and said, " there is more to it but I don't know how to put it in words". I held her hand. "If it makes it any better I've liked you since you first came to the school, and if you want to be friends I'm fine with that". Trisha gave me a kiss on the cheek ,"Thanks for understanding"
She sighed ,"well I don't want to be in the mall anymore.What do you want to do?" "We could hang out at my house for a while?" ,I said getting up. "Sure".
