Ponyboy sings in the shower every morning before breakfast. He used to do it only when he had nightmares the night before due to it helping him forget the dream, but now it's become a habit. At first, only Darry and Sodapop knew about it, but one morning, Steve, Two-Bit, Dally, and Johnny all came for breakfast and heard Ponyboy singing "Twist and Shout" by The Beatles while in the shower. Pony had no idea until he came out in only a white towel and saw the whole gang staring at him. "When's your next concert, kid?" Two-Bit questioned, making Ponyboy blush in embarrassment.
