Rubys POV
I heard two gun shots off. All I remember is one hit me. That's all I can remember. It's black now no light.
My eyes keep on opening but not for long. Tom was standing in front of me right in front of me. I could feel his hands around me, slightly shaking me.
As I kept opening my eyes I realized Jason was not there. Doug kept saying sorry over and over again.
"It wasn't your fault." I say.
Doug walked away and Tom sat there waiting for me to speak.
I managed to mutter out some words.
"Carry on without me. " I say as I start running out of breath.
"No Ruby please, stay awake, the ambulance is on its way!" he says stuttering.
"Tom I love you." I say shutting my eyes.
"Ruby I love you to." he says slightly shaking me and then I felt a drop of water hit my face. He was crying.
