" Baby! " My moms voice knocked me out of my trance.
" Mom! " I said as I tossed myself into her arms, hugging her as much as I could with this massive belly.
" Marianna," My dad said, not quite looking at me.
" My nephew is in there? " Bryce said, his eyes widening as he looked at my stomach.
" Only for a few more days. " I said as I rubbed my stomach. 3 more days.
" Any names? " My mom asked..
" Not yet, " I replied.
" Might wanna name him after dad.. " Bryce said as my parents eyes snapped to him.
" Why? What's going on? "
" We weren't going to tell you, but since Bryce had to bring up," My dad growled," I'm going into court for the old lady I murdered. Xaleb told. Xaleb gets to live because the king came on his land. He should've died, it's the king, buf they're letting him go. " My dad told me.
" That was forever ago! Why are the doing anything about it now? What can they change! Nothing! " I cried as I hugged my dad.
the penalty for murdering a human is death.
" Xaleb isn't getting in trouble for hiding it either, he's actually get praised for telling. " Bryce told.
" I hate him! " I growled.
" I'm sorry I ever promised you too him," He said.
" I know. " I said.
" A promise is a promise," He mumbled.
" What? "
" I promised him. He might've broke his, but I can't break mine. You'll be going back with him after you have the baby. Leaving the baby here to be raised. "
" I'm not leaving. I will run this kingdom if it means staying here with my child, away from that bastard named Xaleb. " I growled as I stepped away from my father.
" Honey! " My mom gasped.
" Just get out. " I growled.
" Baby," My mom tried again, I growled and they quickly left, even Bryce.
I sat on my bed as I rubbed my stomach, thinking of a name.. It sure as hell won't be after my bastard of a brother, it will be something meaningful.
