Marianna's p. o. v
I sprawled out on my bed after a fresh shower. I just took a morning run. I had Mary watch Zander while I took a long run. It was amazing. I don't remember it ever feeling so good. I cracked my knuckles as I realized how wide awake I am. I've never felt better. I rolled onto my back as then turned to my side, starring at Zander's crib. I still cannot believe that he's mine. I'm his mother as he is my son. It's so crazy, but even crazier is how much I love him.
The clock struck 8:30 and Zander began to wake up. I jumped up, my wet hair slapping against my back as I shivered from it.
" Hi baby, " I smiled as I look over the crib. He gave a cheeky little smile as he woke up some more.
" We're going to get you ready and have some fun today. " I smiled at him as I picked up his little body and laid him on the changing table. Once I changed his wet nappy, I fed him and burped him. I then dressed him in a long sleeved onesie with some pants. It's October, quite cold here.
I placed him in his swing as I pulled on a sweater. I picked him back up and we headed towards the kitchen. I'm really glad I don't have to wear dresses everyday.
" Morning Queen Marianna. " A chief said as I walked in," and Morning to prince Zander. " He smiled.
" Morning. " I replied as sat down at the counter.
" What would you like? " The chief asked.
" Blueberry pancakes please? " I smiled.
" Of course. " He nodded as he began to make them. I smiled as Zander starred at me.
" Hi baby," I whispered to him, he smiled of course," mommy loves you. " I smiled at him this time.
" Good Morning King Zed and King Hemsworth. " The chief bowed.
Special treatment.
The simply nodded, telling the chief what they wanted to eat.
" Hows my grandson? " Zed asked as he sat beside me. Tage on my left.
" Perfect. " I said as he grabbed Zed's hand.
" We all know who he loves more. " Tage smirked.
" He better not. " Zed and I said at the same time.
" He loves his mommy more than you guys. So not sorry. " I said as the chief placed our food in front of us. We ate and made small talk. Eating with a baby isn't as hard as I thought it would be.
After we ate, I took Zander back towards the room and laid him on his stomach as he slowly began to fall asleep. This kid should've been a cat. He sleeps so much.
" Marianna? " Tage asked as he came in.
" Yeah? " I asked as I sat up from laying on the floor in front of Zander.
" Who the fuck is Xaleb? "
My eyes widen as he became angry over no reason.
" A guy my dad promised me too.. but he's gone.. hopefully for good. " I asked confused. Who told him about him?
" Hopefully? "
" Yeah.. They set him free. " I said as I looked at Zander.
" Is that where you where when Zion came after you? " He asked me.
" Yes. " I said as I frowned.
" I'm sorry. " He said," but we have to leave now. I won't make you my queen until you're 18, but I will have you come home with me. "
You see, in the werewolf world, girls really have no rights compared to guys.
" What? Why? My parents? Brother? everybody? I can't just leave! " I said as I stood up.
" You have no choice. Pack or come without anything. " He said and with that, he left.
