Eksaktong  bumaba naman sina Sander kasama ang iba pa. Sa ngayon lahat kami ay suspect rito. Wala ni isa sa amin ang dapat palampasin na imbestigahan ng pulisya, it could be any of us. Lalo pa at hindi physical na sinaktan ito ang naging dahilan ng pagkamatay niya. It was internal, its either he was poisoned or meron siyang karamdaman but hindi pa rin natin kakaligtaan na pwede rin itong maging isang murder case.

"What happened here?" Bungad na tanong agad ni Sander pagkalapit na pagkalapit niya.

"He was found dead around 10 minutes ako. The name of the victim is Remor Garcia at ang kapatid niya naman ay si Gary Garcia na siyang kasama niya rito sa resort. Walang saksak or ano man na makikita sa katawan. His dead didn't cause by external physical harm but its in the inside." Paliwanag ko naman sa kanila. Nilapitan naman ni Franz ang katawan ng biktima and what he said next surprised me.

"Untraceable, fast acting. Definitely a poison or yet a drug murder case. We've got ourselves a real killer." Sabi nito.

"How?" Takang tanong naman nung kapatid nitong si Gary, pinaalis na muna ang mga tao dito sa crime scene at pinapasok sa loob ng hotel at sinigurado na ni isa sa kanila ay hindi makakalabas dahil one of them or even us could be the suspect.

"Phenol. Isa itong drug na kailan lamang nadiskubre. I have the same victim last time with the same situation. No physical harm but its either injected or ingested. Phenol is very hard to discover and identify since hindi pa ito gaanong katagalan and hindi pa kilala masyado ng mga gumagawa ng gamot. Phenol is fast acting poison and it apparently works just within seconds that causes unconciousness and kills within 2-3 minutes at most. And that just makes it harder to identify the victim." Sabi nito.

Napaisip naman ako, masyadong maraming tao ang nandirito sa Barden Beach Resort na ito and anyone here could be a suspect and tanong lang talaga ay sino at paano. Kung magk-conduct kami ng investigation ay mas matatagalan ang pagr-resolba ng kaso. Pero bago ako sumuko sa pagresolba ng kasong ito ay may isang bagay muna akong dapat gawin.

"May kukunin lang ako." Paalam ko sa kanila pero hindi nila ako pinansin so I just left and shrugged my shoulders, Gary Garcia couldn't be the murderer because he is his brother but still I will consider the possibilities kasi hindi natin alam na kung sino pa yung mga taong pinagkakatiwalaan natin ng lubusan sila pa yung may ganang gumawa ng ganito sa inyo.

I entered the lobby where the staffs of the hotel and resort made them stay, some people are just talking and talking about the death of Remor Garcia and all. I came here inside, to observe. To see if there are any persons that are remarkable, by their mannerisms and all. And maybe to try to ask them one by one.

I just sat there in the corner where I can see them all. But then again, I was disturbed because I heard a man speaking on the telephone. It was the same man, by the beach.

"They're here. Is that why you made me stay and watch those kids?" Tanong nito sa kabilang linya.

"The police are coming and the killer would be gone by then. Katangahan nalang nila yun, kung hindi pa nila malaman kung sino talaga ang pumatay. Nasa tabi na nga lang nila hindi pa nila makita." Sabi nito. What the heck does he mean by that?

I looked at where the man is and finally after hearing those anonymous conversations, I've seen his face. He has this presence that you will see in his face that says, "buzz off." or something like that. He has this dark eyebrows that complemented his long lashes and dark grey eyes, mayroon siyang matangos na ilong and a thin lips at that. He may be mistaken as a model. Kung hindi ko siguro narinig ang pinagu-usapan nila, I would think of him as a model.

At nang maramdaman kong papalinhon siya sa gawi ko ay agad akong umalis roon and started walking away. Still thinking about what he said about, 'nasa tabi na nga nila, hindi pa nila makita.' That man will be on my most wanted list, if I ever see him again.

Bumalik na ako sa crime scene at naabutan ko na nga roon sina Sander at yung iba pa but this time kasama na nila yjng mga pulis. I observed them all, Sander, Franz, Xena, Bryce, Jared, Carla, Derek, Bianca and Sofia.

Sander, is being asked by the police while Franz is doing something in his laptop while silently observing and Xena is right beside him. Jared and Carla, is inside because the police asked her to do some questioning with the other people inside together with other police officers. Derek, Bianca and Carla, is at the corner just looking. Why the hell did we invite them here in the first place. I don't know why Sander invited them. We don't know them. In fact we know nothing about them.

And by the statement that the guy said a while back, they could be our prime suspect. Or it could be Gary Garcia the brother of the victim himself. He isn't crying and no any emotion is visible in his face but I can see the sadness in his eyes. After all its his brother who has been killed.

Bryce, out of nowhere approached me.

"Who do you think did it?" He suddenly asked not looking at me but to the people around us.

"I don't have the slightest clue. But the killer must have an accomplice in order for him or her to execute the killing. After all, as you can see the victims body hindi naman siya ganun kahina at hindi rin gaanong kalakasan. And for sure he can handle himself when it comes to defending. But the question is who would that be? I'm stuck in that question, although I already have suspects." Mahabang paliwanag ko sa kanya.

"If it can help, I saw Derek together with Bianca and Sofia go out just before we heard the scream. Hindi naman sa sila yung pinagbibintangan ko pero, you know that we don't know them that much right? So yeah. Thats it." And that just sums up what I know. All I can do now is to ask Sander, why.

"Thank you, will you excuse me for a second?" I asked him and he nodded.

I walked towards Sander.

"Why?" I asked him.

"Why what?"

"Bakit mo sinama yung tatlong yan. You know, Derek, Bianca and Sofia."

"To prove some facts. To prove that shadows never lie. And now that you've asked it, its proven." Makahulugang sabi nito.

"What do you mean its proven? What is proven?"

"Why did you asked me that? Bakit mo tinatanong kung bakit ko sila sinama?" tanong niya sa akin.

"Because they are my suspect." Sagot ko naman sa kanya.

"Because they are the one who did it."

After telling all the facts and truths to the police. Umamin din yung tatlo na sila nga ang may gawa, dahil ano man ang gawin nila ay hindi na nila ito matatakasan. Proofs are everywhere. Proofs and witnesses to be exact.

But when they were asked of about where did they got the drug, Phenol. They did not answer. Of course they wouldn't, their life would be at risk. After that. We left the case in the police and immediately got to our rooms. We spend a day or two in that resort and got home. For the rest of our semestral breaks to pass.

One thing is for sure now. Shadows never lie.
