P.S. You should be thankful that I'm not as mean Rick because he'd probably switch to another character for three chapters before giving you any new info on Caleo... Well, it's true!

Chapter 15: I Meet The Child of Misery

LEO'S POV

Of all the horrible scenarios that Leo had thought of during his ride, this was not one of them.

The boy looked to be about sixteen, with pale white skin, jet black hair formed with gel in the front and unnaturally red lips. His eyes were a cold grey color that seemed to pierce right through Leo's skin.

Calypso's eyes widened in shock. "Leo Valdez?"

"That's me," Leo replied, staring around the island he remembered so well.

"Oh my gods... I never thought... I mean, no man has ever found Ogygia twice!"

"Did they look?"

Calypso blinked. Maybe it had never occured to her that her lovers hadn't even thought to come back for her.

"Who the Hades is this? I thought the Gods weren't going to send anyone else!" The guy's voice was suprisingly deep and cold.

"The Gods didn't send him," Calypso answered, her eyes never leaving Leo. "He sent himself."

"Do you two know each other?" The boy looked between Leo and Calypso in bewilderment.

"We've met," Calypso said shortly. "Aaron, if you'll excuse me, I need to talk to Leo alone for a moment."

Calypso stood up slowly and Leo gasped. Under her white t-shirt, her stomach was bulging out like a balloon.

"You're pregnant?" he exclaimed as soon as they were alone. Her eyes drifted downward.

"Yeah," she sighed.

"By him?" Leo couldn't wrap his mind around it.

"Yes, Leo, but not by choice. He's... he's horrible!" Although he figured he shouldn't be, Leo couldn't help but be relieved at that news.

On closer inspection, he realized that Calypso didn't look just like she did last time. Her previously pin-straight hair was now wavier and messier and there were bags under her eyes.

"What did he do to you?" Leo asked with concern.

"He's a son of Oizys, the goddess of misery. He has this ability to make people feel miserable whenever he wants them too. And so when I don't do what he wants, he does that to me and I have no choice but to do what he wants."

Leo wanted to go and kill the guy in that second, but he figured that might not be the best idea.

"Why is he here?"

"I-I prayed for someone. Someone who could stay," she muttered, keeping her eyes on the floor.

"Don't you... I mean, do you still like me?"

"Of course I still like you, Leo! I just expected that once you'd gone, you'd never come back. That's how it was with everyone before you." Again, Leo couldn't help but be overwhelmed with happiness at her words.

"And you don't like... him?" Leo had to be sure.

"Gods, no, Leo, you don't need to be worried about that! I mean... well, let's just settle it like this," she stood up on her tiptoes, grabbed Leo's head and kissed him. Leo passionately returned it, savoring the moment he had waited so long for.
