Log 7

{Olivia is in her pajamas, it's dark, and she fixes the camera, then begins to whisper}

Well, I read the first three chapters, it took me a while because it's about their anatomy and so many of the terms didn't have a translation and were kinda... odd. Like they have an organ called a nuge {noog-eh}, which helps them, hold on, {she grabs the tablet and reads from it} "digest any materials except C12H22O11," which, when I looked it up, I found that it is lactose.

[Olivia? What are you doing up?]

[Oh, sorry mom, did I wake you?]

[No. Are you making a log again?]

[Yeah...]

[Alright, just don't wake up the others]

[Okay mom, but what are you still doing up?]

[I just can't sleep is all...]

[Oh, drink some warm milk, there should still be some in the kitchenette... I think...]{Olivia turns back to the camera}

Yeah... my mom hasn't been able to sleep well since we got to the ship... I hope she's okay... Maybe I should take her with me after breakfast so she can get checked out...

{Coughing can be heard from the Kitchenette and Olivia looks over her shoulder worried and then back to the camera still looking worried}

Yeah... as I was saying... apparently the Hilyuomjec are lactose intolerant...

{Olivia's mom walks into her room and Olivia looks a little relieved}

No wonder there's no dairy unless you brought some...

They have other weird organs, but I don't really want to list them all. Also, I realized that their hearts are literally bigger than ours, and there's two of them... (no wonder their so kind) {she laughs as though trying to cheer herself up.}

Well anyways... I think I should get to bed I have my first day in the infirmary tomorrow, goodnight {Olivia looks upset at the camera and turns it off.}
