Toy Souldier

diseased little boy

sickened and laughed at

names fly back and forth

he walks like a soldier

strong and tall

unharmed from around him

lies about him

spread from ear to ear

kicked to the ground

blood splattered around

fist are thrown

sweet little boy

life's changed

an eye for an eye

never to lie

carry those words

like a broken toy soldier

told to stay quiet

but do you do

when the toy is broken

sweet little boy

good little boy

listen to what they say

behave

carry your weapon on your shoulder

what weapon

little boy too weak to be strong

little boy can't even speak what's wrong

color blind boy don't see no colors

all he sees are tortured letters

frightened by death following  his shadow

little boy's dreams crushed

by another

always told to follow the others

we ain't no animals

and we're differently ain't no toy soldier

we're told that we've concern

concord what

broken down dreams

like a cat without a mouse

the boy without a friend

falls to the end
