You stare at a little girl, and ask her, why?
Why she's alone, and wants to die?
why she looks at the world so cruel?
What has made her such a fool?
everyone leaves her alone and alive.
A family at home never stays.
Every night she wants to break away.
As she lies in bed, not wanting to live.
father leaves saying he hates how it is.
but he always comes back, there's no where else to live.
mother leaves, she doesn't want to be treated this way.
always getting blamed for things she didn't say.
But she always comes back because she knows she has to stay.
brother always walks away. He hates his father.
He wants to get away.
But he has no dollars, do he has to stay.
sister wants to get away. from the way she's treated.
but sister can't get on her feet, so she just fades away.
That little girl, she never leaves.
she sits in the corner, as tears run down her face.
You ask her why she hates to trust.
she's always left alone in the world to die.
All her friends seem to go away.
always seem to forget she's alive.
she's alone in the world so cold.
