Chapter 8 - What She Likes

"I think i might like you , Mina..."

Several days later...

Nothing much has changed in the Famille'...except for Raika's attitude around me..

"Hi Mina !"

"Good Morning ...." Raika whispers softly in my ear...

"W-Whoa there !"

"Hmn..your face is bright red , just the reaction i expected..."

Giving my red face a satisfied grin , Raika bounce off...

After her declaration of "Liking" me , Raika seems to be even chummier with me than before..

(N-not the i mind, exactly...but is this what she mean when she say she "likes me" , she likes picking on me..)

(B-but she's taking this a little bit too far , it's embarrassing..)

Then, late one night...

While i'm studying , Raika comes home...

"Oh' good ! You're still awake, Mina.."

"Huh ? We're we suppose to do something tonight ?" 

"What do you have in mind ?" she smiled at me mischievously

"N-nothing...."

"Booooo , Well let's just hang out then..."

Raika says cheerfully , sitting next to me..interrupting my serious study session.

"Do you want some coffee , or hot chocolate like usual ?"

"Awee , how sweet , i'll take the hot choco , thanks mina.."

"With Marshmallow ?

"With Marshmallow." she confirmed

"Okay the give me a moment.." 

a hurried to the kitchen and made Raika her preferred Hot choco with marshmallow like she always likes , i hurried back at the living room and handed Raika her hot choco.

I'm sipping on my coffee when she dropped this bombshell..

"Hey , Mina , how many girls have you dated ?"   

"Pffffttt !!"

Good thing i move my mouth away from the table or i could have made a mess out of my research paper and assignments ....She just gets right to it , doesn't she...

"W-where did that question came from ?!"

"Oh, come on , just tell me how many ?" she pouts

"..H-how many ?!"

As i struggle for answer Raika inches closer to me...

"Come onnnnn , how many ?!"

(is she drunk ?)

"I-i...i never dated anyone !"

"Huh ? No way....Mina ? have you never been in love ?!"

(Why does she have such talent for asking awkward question..)

"I..uh , i was busy trying to survive life , so i haven't have the luxury of falling in love.." as i explain to her awkwardly

"Ohhh, i see. You've never been in love...."

"You're now a super endangered species.."

"Hahaha funny , what you're now going to hunt me ?" i jokingly said..

Raika only grins back at me.

"....I might , you better watch out.." she giggled

"...and could it be ...."
