I roam the city in a shopping cart

I didn't dare to open my eyes when Frank started to run, giggling like a madman.

"Come on, princess. You'll miss all the fun", he panted

Maybe I really should open my eyes.
I mean... I'd really like to know where we were going...

First I opened my left eye a bit, instantly thanking Frank for sitting me down to face him and not the other way around so the wind wasn't blowing insects in my face.
Once I had opened both eyes I turned my head from left to right to look at my surroundings. Trees everywhere. But it wasn't exactly a forest we were rushing through
More like a little street surrounded by trees.

No car was passing us (no suprise at that time of the day) so Frank could push the cart around without me having to fear for my life.

And suddenly I felt myself going faster than before, a weird tingling feeling spreading though my whole body as I was pushed down a little hill.

The wind was blowing my hair in my face and soon I wasn't able to look anywhere anymore.
Now that I couldn't really see, the feeling only got worse and for a short moment I actually thought I was flying.
The rattling of the little wheels on the ground only a little noise in the back of my head I tightened the grip on the metal cart, waiting for a sudden crash

But the crash never came

Instead the cart just kept rolling until it stopped by itself

My eyes were blown wide as the tingling feeling slowly left my body and I could only sit in the cart, staring into the darkness hearing Frank giggle whilst I wasn't able to make a noise, shock and adrenaline streaming through my veins.

"You okay?", Frank asked out of breath once he reached the cart
I nodded, running my hands over my face to get the hair away from my eyes.

"This...", I started looking at Frank who was grinning down at me, "was amazing"

Franks eyes started sparkling
"I know right?", he exclaimed and started laughing
I couldn't help but join him

It felt so weird.
Me, sitting in a shipping cart on a dark street, laughing like a maniac with Frank fucking Iero.
This couldn't even happen in my wildest dreams...

"How did you know I wouldn't crush into something?", I asked after Frank and I finally stopped laughing

"Oh I didn't know", he answered and started pushing me forward again, slower this time and keeping his hands on the cart

I frowned
"I could have died, you know",
I said looking at him through narrowed eyes

"Oh well", he shrugged and for a short moment I actually thought he was being serious but right when I was about to scream at him, he started laughing again.

"You're such an ass", I yelled trying to hit his arm from my position, only reaching his hands but soon after letting out a giggle

"I know, I know", he grinned

We didn't say anything after that, making our way in complete silence

I leaned back until my head hit the back of the cart and I was practically laying down, looking at the stars

I have to say that it was really nice being carried around and even the metal bars of the shopping cart weren't as painful as I thought they would be.
And the night sky was really pretty today.
Not one single cloud was hiding the stars and the moon was covering the dark trees in a soft, white light.

I grinned up at the sky suddenly feeling sleepy.
It's true that I haven't been sleeping that well lately
Actually I was considering myself luck when I was having 4 hours of sleep.
I couldn't even remember when all of this started but u guess it's better this way.

I decided to take my eyes from the sky, afraid of falling asleep just like that and looked at Frank

To my suprise Frank was already looking at me, a small smile constantly on his face

I laid my head to the side in a questioning manner
"What are you looking at?", I asked, noticing that he was stopping the cart

"Nothing", was all he said, still staring at my face.

Should I ask further?
Or would that be too noisy again?
I already pissed Bert off and I didn't really want to do the same with Frank so I decided to just keep quiet.

After a few moments of silence Frank walked around the cart and stopped next to me
"Come here", he whispered holding out his hands for me to take

I did just that, letting Frank help me out of the cart.
I was actually glad to have the normal ground under my feet again

"Let's go over there", he suggested and pointed over to a tree, bigger than the rest.

I just nodded and followed him

Together we sat down on the grass, feet close to the actual street.
We were sitting pretty close to each other, legs touching and back leaning against the wood.

For a few minutes we just sat there in silence just enjoying the small noises like the wind blowing through the branches of the tree or the sounds of the traffic really far away.

"I think I ruined things with Bert", I sighed, deciding to break the mostly comfortable silence

"How?", Frank asked and turned his head to face me

I told him about the call this evening and what I had said to make Bert angry.

After I finished my story, Frank only shook his head
"You really don't see it, don't you?", he asked

"What do you mean?", I asked back

Frank opened his mouth to say something and closed it shortly after
"Forget it", he sighed, "I forgot what I was going to say"

I knew he was lying
It was really obvious
But I didn't want to start a fight just now

"So what do you think I should do?", I asked instead

"Just wait for him to come back", Frank shrugged

"We're going to meet up tomorrow", I said, "you think I should apologise?"

"Hell no!", Frank said fast, "you did nothing wrong. Don't apologise!"

I didn't know if I should really listen to him...
Frank hates me and I was sure that he would try to ruin things with Bert with every chance he could get
He already tried that in the past
So why shouldn't he do it again?

"Okay what about this", he started, "you just do whatever you think is best for you tomorrow and after you met up with Bert you're going to come over to my place and tell me about it, sounds good?"

I was confused.
How should that help me?
But if that's the best I could get...

"S-Sure", I said, watching Franks grin widen

And before something else could be said, Frank leaned forward, grabbing the back of my head and pushed his lips against mine.

He was kissing me, but it wasn't like all the other times
This wasn't a heated kiss that was going to lead to sex
His lips only brushed against mine slowly, Way too slow for Franks usual kisses

But I liked it

And suddenly, the weird, warm feeling in my stomache I had all those years ago was back
Maybe not as bad as in the past but way too persistent to ignore it

And I really didn't think this was a good thing.

*A/N*

This chapter is unedited so... sorry for that
I hope you'll enjoy this one anyways

This story won't be that long anymore. We're already heading to the end
There are still some more chapters left of course but not too much

I'm already planning a new story.
I currently have three different Frerard story ideas (and one Phan story but I'll write a Frerard first) and I'm still debating which one to write first.

Thanks for reading :)
