Chapter 31: Strangled and Naked (Development Chapter)

"Saan tayo papunta Zywon?", I asked him habang nakaangkas ako sa likod niya. Nais ko tuloy pagsisihan ang pagsama ko. God! He's a devil when it comes to driving this thing! I hope he doesn't violate street rules!

"Just keep your mouth shut until we arrive, Just Amber", wika niya at mas lalong pinabilisan ang takbo ng motor making me hold his body! Yuck, ayaw kong masabihan na tsansing but I don't wanna die this early!

"How long does it take before we arrive to wherever we're going?", tanong ko ulit sa kanya. Damn this guy! Hindi ba niya inisip na nakapalda ako?!

"About 10 minutes", tipid niyang sagot. Uh yeah, he doesn't want any questions. Ten minutes sa bilis ng pagpapatakbo niya. Why not make it an hour as long as we get there alive?

He pulled the vehicle in a fastfood's parking lot. What the hell? We're almost flying at sa isang fastfood niya lamang ako dadalhin? I thought he's bringing me to a life and death
situation, but a fastfood? Argh!

"Are you gonna eat?", tanong ko sa kanya. I handed him the helmet at agad naman niyang tinanggap iyon.

"Yup. Why? What do you think people usually do in a fastfood house, sleep?"

Hindi ko pinansin ang pamimilosopo niya. "You brought me just to a fastfood?", I asked, a little raising my voice.

"Oh, my apologies Your Majesty. Hindi ka ba kumakain sa fastfood? Sorry but my money says I can only afford here and not in those five-star restaurants", he said sarcastically and he darted his dark eyes to me. He's taller than me, making me lift my head a little para lamang sulyapan ang mukha nito.

"That's not what I meant, Stupid! Kinuha mo lamang ako para makasabay mong kumain?"

"Don't make it sound like I'm into you because I'm not. Two detective fools are enough. We'll discuss things while eating because I haven't eaten anything yet. Kung kakain ka, bahala ka. If not then good, makakatipid ako", wika niya at agad na pumasok sa loob ng fastfood. I took a deep breath bago sumunod sa kanya. Ugh! Nakakainis!

Umorder na ito at naupo kami na magkaharap sa pandalawahang mesa.
"Spill it."

He made a face to me at pinaglaruan ang mga tissue na naroon. "I can't. Hindi mo ba mahihintay na dumating ang pagkain ko?"

"Look Zywon, I ditched school for some reason and this is not one of them so you'd better not waste my time", I said impatiently.

"I ditched class too so it's a fair play", wika niya. His food arrived at maganang kinain niya iyon. Inilapag din ng crew ang iced coffee sa harap ko.

"Now tell me."

"Let me eat even five spoonfuls Just Amber", wika niya na ikinasagad ng pasensya ko. Is he trying to pissed the hell out of me because if he is, well he's successful! I'm so pissed!

"Alam mo bang naiinis na ako?"

He nodded. "Yes. You used to bite your lip a lot when you're pissed and you're doing that now so I guess you're pissed."

"Argh! Can I kill you?", lalo lamang akong nainis sa kanya. He chuckled at pinagpatuloy lamang ang pagsubo.

"Fine. Baka sabihin ng tao na pinapaiyak kita so I'll tell you our agenda for today's meeting", wika niya.

"I'm not crying."

"You're almost."

"Whatever. Just go on."

"It's all about that organization", wika niya. I knew it! It must only be that thing! Ibig sabihin ay hindi ito tumitigil sa pag-iimbestiga tungkol sa organisasyon.
