Today was the first day of school for Lucas. He and Kenzie planned to stop at my place to pick me up. After dropping Kenize off at school we then went to our school. I could tell he was a bit nervous about today but knew that was fairly normal for him. After arriving we went to our lockers. Lucas's locker was fairly close to mine. I was happy because we had the same classes together. I was talking to Riley when I glanced over and saw Lucas talking to Missy Bradford one of the biggest bitches in school. It looked like he was clearly enjoying talking to her because he was laughing. Riley turned to look at me when she noticed the expression on my face.

"Peaches, don't worry about it. He loves you." she said knowing right away what I was thinking.

"It's like he's so into it. I wonder if he even told the bitch that he's taken?" I snapped.

"I'm sure he did. Don't let it get to you." Riley replied.

Lucas walked over to me with a smile upon his face. Missy was watching us so when he got over to me I shoved him against a locker and kissed him passionately on the lips. Once we broke away I just left and made my way to Mr. Matthews History class. It was lunch time now and the more girls who walked up to him and talked to him the more annoyed, jealous, and pissed off I got. I walked over and sat down by Riley as I waited for Lucas to get his lunch.

"Maya, for real you got to relax." Riley chuckled. "It's not Lucas fault all these girls are walking up to him today."

"I feel like I've hardly seen him today." I replied.

Lucas came over and sat down beside me, I looked up at him and then continued to eat my lunch.

"Maya are you okay?" he asked.

"Yes, I'm fine." I lied.

Riley looked over at me with an expression on her face clearly she was wanting to know what I was doing.

"You don't seem it." He answered.

"No, really I'm fine." I lied again. "Looks like you made some new friends today."

"I can't keep up with the amount of people that keep walking up to me."

"Yeah I'm sure you are loving all the attention you are getting from the girls." I replied.

"Oh so that's what this is about?" he replied half smiling.

"Maya, stop." Riley chimed in.

"What? I'm just being honest." I retorted.

"You know what." Riley replied.

"You don't got anything to worry about Maya, I love you." Lucas said before giving me a kiss on the forehead. I just smiled at him.

We finished the rest of our lunch and then went to the next class. The rest of the day just drug on. Lucas was still having girls walk up to him. I felt like I hardly seen him today.  I didn't have to watch Kenzie today so Lucas dropped me off. I told him I wasn't feeling up to doing anything. I kissed him good-bye and could tell by the look on his face that he knew something was wrong.

At around 7:00 I went in my room to do my homework. I hadn't said much to Lucas because I was just upset that I hadn't seen him much today. I knew I was being ridiculous but I couldn't help it. was laying in my room finishing doing my homework when there was a knock at my bedroom door. It was Lucas who had let himself in since Mom wasn't home.

"Maya, what's wrong? Are you mad at me?" he said as I walked towards my bed.

"I'm fine." I lied. "And no I'm not mad at you."

"Maya, stop lying to me. I know you aren't fine. You have barely said a word to me all day." he replied.

"Well you were too busy talking to everyone else so why should I have bothered?" I said angrily.

"Every time I would try to get to you I'd have someone corner me. I didn't want to be rude to them." he answered with annoyance in his voice.

"Is that how its always going to be that you don't want to be rude so you barely talk to me all day?" I replied back.

"So I'm not allowed to talk to other people?" he answered this time anger was showing more in his voice.

"You really don't get it do you?" I said and a tear was now slipping down my cheek. I turned to look at my homework. "Just leave I need to get my homework done."

"No I'm not leaving." he answered as he took my history book from me and threw it on a near by chair in my room. "Not until we work this out."

"There is nothing to work out so just let me do my homework." I said as I stood up off the bed to grab my book.

Lucas stood in front of me not letting me get by "No. You're going to tell me what is really bothering you." he said and this time didn't sound angry.

I looked up at him still crying "Fine. I was afraid that some bitch was going to take you from me and that you were going to leave me." I answered with sadness in my voice.

"Maya." he sighed "Nothing or no one would ever make me leave you."

"They probably have more to offer, Maybe you should give it a try."

Lucas picked me up and put me on the bed I rolled over so I couldn't see him but he turned me around so I could face him. He crawled up on the bed and was hovering over me.

"Look at me." he said and so I turned my head. "You are crazy. I don't want any of those girls. I want you and I want you only. None of those girls are or will ever compare to my Maya."

"Well I saw you laughing when you were talking to Missy so you seemed to like something." I replied.

"Maya she said something so dumb that I couldn't help but laugh. I love you and only you. If you don't believe me then I'm going to have to show you." and with that his lips were on my mine. I didn't want to give in so easily but I did. I felt his hands slip under my shirt and shuddered at his touch. Why was I acting so jealous? I put more into the kiss so he would know everything was okay. The next thing I know our clothes were off and I was hoping my mom wouldn't walk in on us.  After we got done Lucas turned to look at me.

"I love you Maya. No other girl compares to you." he said as he rubbed my cheek.

"I love you too. I'm so sorry for being so dumb." I replied.

Lucas wanted to stay with me that night but couldn't because all his things were at home. He kissed me good-bye and told me he would see me in the morning. After he left I finished my homework and got a shower before crawling into bed. It didn't take me long to fall sleep that night.
