Makenzie pov

I woke up holding my head man did it hurt like hell I looked over and saw Damon sitting a chair next to the bed sleeping I tired to get out of the bed but he heard me and woke up and looked over

"I'm glad your ok how are you feeling"

"numb and with a very big headache"

"Makenzie please let's talk I didn't want to hurt you and you know I would never want to do that to you but if I had stayed with you it would have hurt you and me and Summer I'm really sorry and I don't want you to hate me please please please i don't want to live my life knowing that you hate me I don't want my last memory to be seeing your face when your about to cry"

"first I would never hate you I just never thought I see the day that me and you would break up you helped me through so much and I trusted you I fell in love with you I knew that one day you would find you mate but I didn't think it would be Summer"

"I talked to her when you left....."he looked down not wanting to meet my eyes

"she also wants to talk to you she said just come to her room when your ready" Damon looked down and didn't look at me I got up and hugged him I didn't him to beat himself up about this he already looked horrible like he hadn't slept in days nor shave.

"Damon its ok don't worry about me"I felt his hand come around me and pulled me closer into the hug I missed hugging him.

After I took a shower and brush my teeth and got dressed I went don stairs I saw Jace sitting watching t.v I went up to him and stood there he saw me and got up I can tell he was going to hug me but stopped and looked down.

"scare me like that I thought you were going to- nevermind just please don't do that"

I scared him I didn't know what to say we stayed there enjoying each other in our arms he was the first to break our hug

He lips lingered so close to mine I couldn't reply to him he pulled me close our lips met the kiss sent shivers down my spine and fire works exploded in my mouth it stated out slow and careful but soon became hungry passionate kiss his hands grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him my hands rested on his neck he bit my lip I let out a gasp he took that as a chance for an entrance our lips moved as one i heard a light cough i looked over to see Derrek watching us smiling.

"well well well what do we have here" I blushed I can't believe my brother just saw the his face got serious he looked at Jace

"i thought I told you to stay way from my sister"I was about to say something but Jace pulled me close to him

"I don't care what you say she's mine"my heart fluttered

"she's also my sister and i won't let you hurt her"

"I've learned my lesson I lost her once and i won't lose her again your going to have to take her when I'm dead"his eyes were black his knuckles white he was breathing heavy
