Jace's pov

I had seen the twins before lunch the looked sad

"what wrong guys why the sad faces"

"we can't do it we have to tell her we can't keep this lie up Jace we love you but this is wrong"before could say anything else they had went to the lunch table and I went to mine.

makenzie came in the lunch room and sat down I tuned in with my sharp hearing

"whats wrong"

"we have something to tell you we just can't do it we became really close to you and it wouldn't be right if we kept doing this just promise us we can still be friends when we tell you this"

"Jace wanted us to spy on you to get you to forgive him he's our cousin"

I got up and follow her I grabbed her arm

"Makenzie whats wrong"

"let go of me I just started to think that maybe I could give you another chance you and then I found out you have spies on me Jace really forget your second chance"

Lunch had ended and kids were filling the hall way

I sat down in chair across from damon

"makenzie look I know why you don't like summer but she's my mate I didn't choose her it was meant to happen and I don't wan to lose you so can you please get along with her"

"no Damon you don't understand maybe she's different with you but she'll always be the summer I know"

"Makenzie please I want you guys to get along so that me and you don't break apart"
