Hearing the screams of other people pain was like torcher Jace had just left to join the others

during the fight my hand wouldn’t stop shaking and I couldn’t stop thinking of all the bad thing that

could happen to Jace I was looking outside the window and tried not to worry I thought me Jace and

the baby as a happy family I must have been gazing to long because my heart jumped out of my

chest  when the door swung open at first I thought it was Jace but I saw four big men come through

the door and the man who was leading it was the man derrek hand seen in the ball room he had a

big smirk on his face he had the eyes of blood lust.

As they came closer I heard a growl coming from the door way and I saw Jace he looked bruised  

and scratched he was breathing heavy and his eyes were get black he was ready to kill someone

“step away from my mate” he snarled at them but all they seem to do was laugh before I could blink

he was attacking them at first Jace was winning but soon he started to slip up and they had the

upper hand.

“Makenzie Run now  !!” I hurried out the run and out the door I tried my best to get away but being 8

months pregnant didn’t really help me.

I made my way to the edge of the Clift and sat down to rest I looked up at the moon that shine

brightly in the night sky I couldn’t help but feel a sharp pain in my stomach and soon there was

water running down my leg my water had broken right there with no one around in the middle of the

woods what was I going to do it felt as if I being turned inside out.

It had been three hours of labor with no medicine just pure pain more hours went by still no sign of

anyone coming I was starting to think that Jace had gotten hurt he may even been dead suddenly

the pain didn’t matter anymore instead all I could think about was the heart break I would face if I

ever lost him before he could even meet Jailen.
