I'm not the best with words, but when I was approached about this I couldn't say no. A thank you message to the cast and creative team of Carmilla is the least I could do. So here it goes.
I wasn't a part of this fandom from the very beginning. I stumbled upon the little webseries that could right after episode 36 of season 1 aired. I saw it all over tumblr and was intrigued. I wasn't sure why, but I just had to see what it was about; so I did. I watched all 36 episodes that night and immediately fell in love with it. The story, the characters, even the style of filming. I hadn't seen anything like it before. From there I was hooked and over the next six months I watched everything I could involved with it.
When Season 2 began, I really felt like I was a part of something. I felt a sense of community I hadn't felt before. Over the course of all this time this series even helped me to learn some things about myself, which may sound cheesy but I am forever thankful for it. And even now, in the middle of season 3 I still have so much love for it all. I will take this experience with me
