Odell

That night, around eight-fifteen, there was a knock at my door. I jogged to the door and opened it to see YN standing there with her phone in her hand. Her hair was pulled back in a ponytail and she wore a plain black Nike shirt, Nike leggings, and some slides.

"Wassup." I greeted with a smile. She waved and walked inside. I couldn't help but to stare at her butt when she walked by. Gah damn.

"Stop staring at my ass Beckham." She demanded. My eyes widen. How the hell did she know I was looking?

I just closed the door and lead her to my kitchen.

"You have a nice place here." She complimented, looking around. I grabbed two champagne glasses and brought over the red wine.

"Thanks." I handed her the glass. I popped the cap open and began to pour the wine in both of our glasses. I placed the cap back on and held my glass up.

"This is to our win today, with two of the greatest wide receivers." YN raised her glass and clanked it against mine.

"Agreed." We both took a sip and looked at each other.

I set my glass down and smiled at YN, "You know, when we aren't bickering like a married couple, you're a cool person."

"I know." She concurred, causing me to straight face her.

"There you go with that cockiness. You know I've never met someone as cocky as you? I'm not even that cocky."

She chuckled, "I'm sorry. I'm working on it, I promise." She took another sip of her drink before placing her glass down.

"It's so quiet in here. You don't have any pets?" YN asked.

I immediately thought about my late dog Tzar, "I had a dog, but he passed away months ago." I rubbed the back of my neck.

"I'm so sorry Odell." YN apologized softly.

"It's okay, I'm good." I smiled. There was a bit of silence for a while until YN asked,

"Do you have a stereo system? I want to lighten up the mood." I nodded and jogged over to my stereo system that was in my living room. I turned the power on and plugged my phone in the cord that was connected to it.

"Is there anything specific you wanna listen to?" She shook her head no, so I shuffled my playlist and Swang by Rae Sremmurd played.

"Aye come in here and bring my glass please." I turned on the living room tv, which was currently showing Poetic Justice on BET.

YN took her glass, along with mine and walked over to my living room. She handed me my glass before sitting down on the couch. She looked at the tv and started squealing.

"Oh my god this is my favorite movie!"

"Oh really?" I sat down right next to her. She nodded her head with a huge smile.

"Yeah. But it's about to go off." She shrugged, but continued to watch the movie. As she focussed on the movie, I couldn't help but to stare and admire her.
