"Yes, Jet?" she asked.
"What happened to Dr. Lite?" I wondered. Dr. Kate was quiet for a moment but then she replied.
"Let's just say what you told Dr. Lite, love is a very powerful thing. He was so touched. You see, he and his wife have been divorced for almost a year. After the story you told, he went back to her and tell her how sorry he was." Angel and I looked at each other. After that, Dr. Kate left, but before she did she said one more thing.
"Oh, Jet! You'll be out in a couple of days in case your wondering." She smiled.
"I was. Thank you." After that she finally left, and I was alone with Angel.
It was 2 days later and I was home by 11:30
"So Jet, do you want to go to school now or tomorrow?" my mother asked
"Tomorrow. I am not up to it today." I replied
"What do you want Jet?" My mom asked me.
"Angel" I told her
"I meant smoothie wise silly." she laughed
"Oh. How about that drink you fixed for me a week ago? That orange color drink." I told her. My mother shook her head and smiled.
