Mez Pov

It's been a week since I've gotten out of hospital and I honestly couldn't be more happier to be home.

Dads gone off to help mum out on business in Queensland
So I've been staying home with Chris while my parents are away

Things are really gonna change when the guys have to go and finish off their tour which they put on hold just for me, I'm really going to miss them

They leave in about a week and I can just tell that it's going to fly past, but I guess I'll just have to make the most of it till then

As for me,
yeh I'm doing okay, I'm not as upset as i used to be but im glad that I got things out

I just really need someone to talk to,
I'm just afraid that if I go to Chris and tell him EVERYTHING, then he'll leave but i dont know what he'll do honestly
He's quite the gentleman if you ask me

Our relationship, Is really complicated at the moment and i dont know if that's just he wants to give me some space, if likes me or wants to stay just friends

I kind of like him I guess,
I mean,
He did help me through a lot over the past few months and he is really sweet and kind
But I just don't see him falling for someone like me

After all, I'm just a fan
Even though I don't feel like it anymore

I feel like I've really gotten to know the boys well, more than what any other fan knows, I'm just sad to see them go back to their normal lives

Millions of screaming fans
Tours in other different states
Barely getting any sleep
And random people knocking on their front door step

That's what's normal is to these boys.
I just wanna help them so they do stay nice and healthy

After all, look at what they've done for me

They stopped their own tour for me

(But anyways, enough of that)

Right now, I'm having lunch with my best friend Shelby at a new restaurant in town called "Crusties"
It quite of an urban restaurant but the food here is insane!

I slip out of my trance of thoughts and see Shelby mouth the words that's she's saying to me

"So how are things with you and Chris??" She asks

"Honestly, I'm really not too sure, it's complicated" I trail off... Fidgeting with the food on my plate

"Dude, he totally likes you" she tells me

"What, no he doesn't" I Immediately reply

"And you like him to." Shelby says confidently

"I never said that" I tell her

"Oh c'mon Mez, I've seen the way you guys look at each other, you both have that spark in your eyes when the two of you are near each other"

"Look, even if I did like him, he's not gonna like me back, why would someone so kind and innocent like someone like me?? Chris is in a famous boy band touring the country may I remind you, okay Shelby look at all those screaming fans in the crowd, I was one of them" I quietly shout

"Mez I know that's not what he thinks of you, Chris knows well enough not to hurt you and he will protect you, you can't push him away like what you did with Calum, you can't let go of Chris, he means too much to you" Shelby tells me as I trail off into my own thoughts
